Beerus

vs.

Clark Kent (All Star)

Beerus comes to Earth to try some of the planet's food, managing to find a delicious red velvet cake. Lex Luthor, being the billionaire he is, buys all of them so he can't have any, since he hates purple cats. This enrages Beerus, causing him to say he will destroy the Earth. Can Superman beat the rampaging Beerus, or will he die and lose everything, including that Red Velvet Cake?

~Standard Battle Assumptions
~Speed equalized otherwise Clark is far faster.

Beerus has so many strange standard tactics, in my opinion, but I think Sups can take advantage of his variety of powers, and I’d like to think that Beerus’s best response is the Hakai, which can be physically countered and if he wanted to perform an instant Hakai, he’d have to hold Sups back to do so.

"Can Clark speedblitz Beerus before Beerus erases him from existence?" is what I'm thinking about for this matchup.

You probably can, but keep in mind that the best answer is that Beerus needs to hold Clark in order to perform the EE, like this and Hakai can be fought physically, which is why I think Beerus only has a chance if he manages to subdue Sups something I think will be difficult.

Beerus normally doesn't instantly go for hakai if the opponent is considered a worthy one that would give him a fun fight.

We see this with characters that are still way weaker then him like Goku. Or when enraged Vegeta fought him.

The only cases so far were him using it on Zamasu since Zamasu was trying to murder another god, Dr. Mashirito's ghost due to bad mouthing him while he was already in a bad mood, threatening Goku with it (and not fufilling that threat), threatening Krillin with it, and threatening Frieza with it in the manga. In all those cases they were contextually due to someone way weaker annoying him, breaking a cosmic law, or a threat that he didn't fufill.

I'm going to go with Clark Kent being the winner. Beerus's behavior is so awful with the possible wincons he can use, that I don't believe he'd pull them out during a match such as this one, which leaves simply trying to knock Clark down through sheer fighting, something I don't believe he'll be able to do. My answer is going to be leaning into Clark Kent taking this one home.

So Superman could potentially just beat him down, with Beerus probably thinking "hey this guy is fun maybe I'll play with him a little" and then if he doesn't think to use Hakai or another instant wincon, he's gonna get beaten to a pulp. Clark knows that Beerus is a threat so he probably won't hold back, so I think I'll go with the Big S on this matchup.

It seems the consensus is that Supes wins. Adding thread.
