Deconstruction
Background
Deconstruction is the ability to break something down into smaller parts. The extent of this ability can vary from user to user. Some can only break down physical things like matter while more potent versions of this ability can interact with metaphysical objects like the soul. It differs from traditional Matter Manipulation or other abilities like them by only allowing the user to break things down, not manipulate them. Deconstruction users cannot manipulate things they've already broken down to the fullest extent of their ability.
Applications
- Type 1: Macroscopic: Being able to break down things visble to the naked eye, normally a organic being, or objects around reality. The user can deconstruct something like a table into the parts that make it up.
- Users:
- Type 2: Microscopic: Being able to break down things not visible to the naked eye, that requires a microscope to be seen. These usually vary on the following:
- Cellular: Able to deconstruct characters or objects on a cellular level.
- Users:
- Atomic: Able to deconstruct characters or objects on an atomic level.
- Users:
- Subatomic: Able to deconstruct characters or objects so thoroughly that their atoms can be divided into the quarks that make them up. This would also apply to theoretical quantum ideas.
- Users:
- Cellular: Able to deconstruct characters or objects on a cellular level.
- Type 3: Ontological: Able to deconstruct characters or objects on an existential level, completely undoing all constituents that make up their being on a physical and conceptual level.
