Background
Organic Manipulation is the power to control organic substances. The user can create, shape, and manipulate organic materials, both organisms and organic matter. Due to how broad this particular ability is, some users can only manipulate specific organisms and elements such as metals, whereas a higher-level users can create, manipulate, shape, transform, heal, and/or destroy everything that lives, has lived, or comes from the Earth.
Variations
Adhesive Applications:
- Adhesive refers to objects and/or materials that are sticky or prone to attaching onto a surface area. Typically this consists of glue, webbing, gel, used in an offensive manner to slow down targets or prohibit a targets' movements.
- Examples: Spider-Man, Muffet, and Steve
Botany Applications:
- Botany refers to creating and manipulating plant-based organisms through various means such as cellular manipulation, mineral creation, etcetera. Typically this variation consists of the user creating plants, fruits, or vegetables in the middle of combat. This application is also referred to as Plant Manipulation.
- Examples: Todd Ingram, Quaggled Mireclops, and Cagney Carnation
Periodic Element Applications:
- This is a more broad term for general earthly elements such as fossil fuels, hydrogen, nitrogen, etcetera. This subcategory is for characters who manipulate the elements of the earth in combat. Periodic application, due to being so broad, can also refer to other powers such as Earth Manipulation.
Genetic Applications:
- Genetics Applications refers to organic matter produced and used from humans or animals. This can range from blood, to ink, to sweat, or even milk. This application is seen most commonly in the form of Blood Manipulation by characters using their own blood as an offensive/defensive weapon.
- Examples: Inkling, Magneto, and Johnny Joestar
Limitations
- Organic Users might be limited to a specific element or material.
- The Organic Material could be countered by Life Manipulation.
- Some applications could be dangerous to use extensively in combat.
