Introduction

Doing a speed calculation. For context, it's noted as a plot point in Mega Man 3's manual that Mega Man travels across planets through teleporting. Which is the first feat.

This also creates a feat from Mega Man V where Proto Man travels from Earth to Pluto through his teleporter.

The planets Mega Man travels to in 3 are not within our solar system and are all uncharted, so we'll use the baseline assumption of the nearest solar system from Earth based on Mega Man's first choice for a robot master implying he's still at Earth during this and Proto Man teleporting him back home at the end of the game. Both of these have an unused timeframe but we can assume no more then a minute since Mega Man is not only in a hurry during the game but Dr. Light notes he just found Mega Man on the ground suddenly.

Nearest Solar System is 4.3 lightyears away from Earth.

Ok so, the basic assumption was that Proto was at Earth, makes little sense to assume he was just randomly jerking around on some other planet. The timeframe I'm going to use is from when the music stops to when Proto Man appears, so around 6 seconds.

Pluto on average is 5.05 billion kilometers from Earth.
