Korsica is one of the central antagonists in Hi-Fi Rush. She is the head of security at Vandelay Technologies, and the youngest boss of the game's six main bosses.
Following her boss encounter, she joins up with Chai and the others as a summonable Assist, being able to put out fires and stun enemies from mid-range.

With a fiery temper and a strict sense of justice, you certainly do not want to get on Korsica's bad side.
And yet, some say the head of security is among the more reasonable of the company bigwigs. Unfortunately, with Chai in her sights, negotiation is out of the question.

When she was a child, the area she lived in was struck by an ecological disaster. Roxanne Vandelay came to the rescue and helped the people in her home town. This inspired Korsica to join Vandelay Technologies, believing that it was the only company doing the right things. She chose to disregard her gut feeling with Kale because she thought that was how leadership was, purposefully made unaware of Kale's secret conspiracy with the company. After some hard work she became proficient enough at Vandelay to be promoted as one of the central bosses of the corporation: Head of Security.
Baton: Korsica utilizes two batons in combat, where she can use them separately or put them together to create a bo staff-like weapon.
Notable Techniques
Kali Proficiency: Korsica can utilize her batons in a similar fashion as eskrima/arnis, and in conjunction with her impressive agility, she is a very formidable opponent to face due to her swift strikes and attacks.
Staff Mastery: Korsica can merge her batons together to create a bo staff-like weapon, allowing her to attack her opponents with swift swings and agile rotating strikes.
Wind Generation: Korsica can create strong cyclones of wind utilizing her batons, which can be used to put out fires and stun enemies.
High Security Risk: A jam combo with Korsica that not only unleashes a flurry of hits, but also allows one to conitnue comboing the defeated enemy for an overkill bonus.
Tornado Lift: Use Korsica's wind energy to keep an enemy in the air as Chai attacks the enemy from all sides, doing damage as well as significantly stunning them.
Korsica Typhoon: Call in Korsica and charges her wind energy. Releasing it sends out tornados to catch enemies and leaves them open to attack and more open to stun damage.
High Alert: Korsica comes in for a counter, knocking an enemy into the air with her baton. When performed successfully, it sets up Chai to fight back with an immediate air combo.
Twin Assault: Summons in Korsica to attack with her batons and finishing it off with a combo hit. As it has a wide range, it's likely to pull in multiple enemies.
Other
Standard Tactics: Korsica will use her two batons in combat along with her wind blast to stun her enemies.
Weaknesses: Nothing notable.
Trivia
In her boss fight, it is possible to miss the timing on the last beat hit, causing a unique cutscene with unique dialogue to be played. This also results in an instant D rank for the encounter, regardless of the player’s overall performance.
The game originally was going to prepare the player more for this event, however, the devteam found it funnier if the event was missed, therefore opting to catch the player off guard.[1]
Korsica is voiced by Sarah Elmaleh in English, who voices for Despondent Pyre from Halo Infinite, Cube Queen from Fortnite, and additional voices in God of War: Ragnarök, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Korsica is voiced by Yū Kobayashi in Japanese, who voices Ruri Tsukiyono from Digimon Ghost Game, Black Maria from One Piece, Sasha Braus from Attack on Titan, and Enkidu from Fate/Grand Order.
Korsica was the only character among the board to not be outfitted with Armstrong or Vandelay tech, until after she had sustained injuries caused by Kale.
Korsica was given limited access to files and documents concerning SPECTRA, in contrast to the other bosses at Vandelay Technologies, which never sat right with her.
It is implied that Peppermint has feelings for Korsica, but she appears oblivious to this. Peppermint’s attempt to get close to Korsica is then interrupted by Chai, there might be another hint in stage 9 when Korsica expresses her amazement of Peppermints teleporation tech and Peppermint gets noticeably flustered.
Korsica, Rekka, and Zanzo are the only characters not named after food or drinks.[2] However, there is something called 'Corsican Pear Spice', from the island of Corsica, which sounds similar.
