Background

Weapon Mastery is the extraordinary ability to wield one or multiple weapons with peak skill, precision, and control—whether through intense training, natural talent, or supernatural means. It surpasses mere familiarity or competence with a weapon, representing complete dominance over the weapon’s capabilities in offensive and defensive combat.

A user with Weapon Mastery can exploit every nuance of their weapon's form, weight, timing, and range. They can strike with optimal power, block or deflect incoming attacks with perfect timing, and adapt instantly to changing battle conditions. Mastery may be limited to a specific class of weapons (such as swords, spears, or firearms), or it can encompass a wide arsenal, including improvised, exotic, or supernatural weapons.

Weapon Mastery is often associated with legendary warriors, martial artists, elite assassins, or divine beings. In fantastical settings, it can extend to mystical or energy-based weaponry, allowing for feats like slicing through projectiles, fighting blindfolded, or even channeling elemental powers through the weapon.
