Genius

From The Codex
Archetypal Tiering/Genius
Jump to navigationJump to search

Background

Genius is a main archetype representing characters defined by extraordinary intelligence, creativity, or strategic thinking. Their prowess is often independent of physical abilities or raw power, allowing them to compete with, manipulate, or outthink opponents far stronger than themselves. In crossovers, Genius-tier characters are often scaled to remain equally capable against other "genius" figures, ensuring their intellect is always relevant.

Origins

The Genius archetype originates from stories where intellect, invention, or cunning determines outcomes. Unlike other archetypes that rely on strength or combat skill, Geniuses influence the narrative through problem-solving, planning, or technological mastery. They are often central to strategy-driven plots or situations where mental agility is paramount.
