Many may have noticed the changes in the Regeneration page and all subsequent profiles in the midst of being changed with the new profile in mind. Essentially to explain the changes:
I've forgone the type system as I feel it doesn't accurately represent the scope of how fiction treats regeneration (which is that there's no true uniformity to it). Thus binding it to a very archaic system that is trying to go for a "this is more impressive then this" doesn't really work in my book. It also feels too powerscaley, I can better imagine an author was intending for a character to say have a passive metaphysical type of regeneration then I will ever for an intended high-godly regeneration or the such.
There also exists multiple cases where regen that would be considered "lower" by the older system being treated as more impressive then regeneration treated "higher" by the old system. For example, vampires in Touhou have a big hype statement of how they can regenerate their head. While Youkai are noted to be able to regenerate from their spirit.
There are also many different types and methods of regeneration that is blatantly just not talked about with the old type system, so I've updated it completely.
I plan on adding more types and sources in the future, as there a lot. That's all for the changes to Regeneration.
