Streetcleaner (Ultrakill)

From The Codex
"Mature Content"
This character or verse has mature themes and concepts, thus those of young age are ill-advised to look through these.
TYPE: LESSER MACHINE

Data: Originally built as a way to purify the tainted air of cities after the climate catastrophe, Streetcleaners were made obsolete during the New Peace, and were repurposed as scouts for Hell expeditions. However, their urge to clean remained, and after the fall of mankind, they began burning any organic matter they came across in an effort to purify the world. Strategy: - Due to their combat experience, they can be tricky to take down with projectiles and explosives. - The canister on their back is a major weakpoint that can be shattered with a precision shot, such as a Marksman coin ricochet from behind. - Point-blank attacks can also be very efficient, but must be performed quickly to avoid the fire of their flamethrowers.

~ Streetcleaner's Terminal data

Background

Streetcleaners are enemies in the FPS game Ultrakill. They were created by humanity with the purpose to purify cities and lower pollution after a world crisis, however after the fall of mankind their urge to clean drove them to setting the world ablaze. They were also used as scouts for Hell expeditions, and as such can be found across various layers of Hell when V1 invades it. They attack by approaching their targets and unleashing their flamethrowers. They can be quickly dispatched into a violent explosive death by using the Marksman to ricochet a bullet into their gas tanks.

Power and Abilities

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Inorganic Physiology (Due to being robots), Fire Manipulation, Negation (Via their flamethrowers. These can harm V1, which resists the effects of fire and heat), Purification (They were built to purify polluted air), Non-Standard Interaction and Conceptual Manipulation (Every character in the game is able to interact with hell, with hell being stated to be an idea and more abstract, without an actual physical space), Attack Reflection (They can knock away projectiles).

Resistance to Heat Manipulation, Fire Manipulation (They're unharmed by fire), Conceptual Manipulation (Streetcleaners can easily tank hits from V1 who can interact with hell, with hell being stated to be an idea and more abstract, without an actual physical space), Regeneration and Healing Negation (Can cause "Hard Damage" who temporarily prevents V1 from healing with blood)
Perspective Manipulation (Hakita states that hell is a non-physical place, but rather an idea, which is why layers have skies even tho there is another layer above, Hakita also explains that because of this, Hell is different for everybody where places that character such as V1 may see and interact with won't be visible to other entities, Hakita states that hell continously transforms in a way where the opening to continue has to come somewhere one way or another for the player to progress, which is why no matter the path one may go, it will always be the "right way". Hakita also calls it a way of perception to interact with space)
