Fire Manipulation

Background

Fire Manipulation, also known as pyrokinesis, is an ability in which the user has control, and most times command, over flames. Due to its widespread inclusion in fiction works, it has emerged in many different forms, some greater than others, however all use the destructive prowess of the element to their advantage. Whilst there can be certain limitations to this, for example fire extinguishing scenarios such as a lack of oxygen or the presence of water, some users of this ability are able to overcome these, making them harder to overcome.

Possible Limitations

• Fire tends to only ignite in the presence of oxygen.
• Their ability may be doused with water.
• The user may be susceptible to their own flames.
• The user may require equipment, such as flamethrowers, to unleash this skill.
