Tai Lung climbs up some stairs quite quickly. Ima calculate how fast Tai Lung would have had to move to make it up the stairs.

Important Numbers: Po's Height: 6"2, or 1.88 metres Number of steps to the Jade Palace: 1000

Calculation

From the image here, we can see that Po is around 6 steps long. If we assume that the stairs to the Jade Palace is one massive triangle, then given that 6 steps is 1.88 metres long, the distance travelled from the bottom to the top of the stairs is 1.88 * (1000/6) = 313.33 metres.

Now to decide upon the timeframe:

For a low-end, we'll use the time from when we saw the empty set of stairs to when we saw Tai Lung. That's 5 seconds.

Speed = distance/time, so Tai Lung must have travelled at 62.67 m/s, or low-end Superhuman

We can also assume that Tai Lung was moving up the stairs from when Shifu closed his eyes. If he had been travelling before the lightning strike, we would have likely heard him, so it's logical to assume that Tai Lung travelled up the stairs during the period of lightning. In the video it took around 2.5 seconds, and lightning bursts like that last for around 2 seconds apparently.

Again, speed = distance/time, so Tai Lung must have travelled at around 125.33 m/s, still Superhuman
