Accelerated Development (Despite Goggles being completely new to Turf Wars and not even knowing how they work,[1] Team Blue was able to defeat Team Yellow[2] despite them having prior knowledge on Turf Wars and several things going wrong for Team Blue during the match. During the Turf War, Goggles accidentally splatted Specs, his own teammate and forced him back to the spawn point as Team Yellow covered most of the stage with their ink already.[3] When Specs made it back to the spawn point and recovered, he tried to Super Jump to get back to helping his team as fast as possible.[4] However, he ended up jumping way too far, costing Team Blue a team member for the rest of the match.[5] Despite this, Goggles and his team[6] were able to perform a comeback,[7] taking out Team Yellow[8] and ultimately defeating them in the Turf War.[9] In Inkopolis, Team Blue is generally known for being stupid[10] and they consist of C and B Ranks.[11] In the Corocoro Cup, a tournament to decide whos number 1 at Turf Wars,[12] Team Blue encountered Rider, an S+ Rank which is regarded to be the highest rank of them all at the time.[13] With the leader Specs and Headphones finding him[14] to be unbeatable in comparison to their own team with their far lower ranks.[15] Despite the low chances, Team Blue ended up getting matched up against Rider's Team Yellow Green in the first round, and thought they already were done for.[16] At the start of the match, Goggles started inking the stage rapidly but accidentally drowned himself due to not paying attention.[17] Soon after, Rider encountered the rest of Team Blue and casually splatted them all with a single swing of his weapon.[18] When Goggles respawned, Rider's team used their powerful Triple Inkstrike technique[19] to take him out[20] after he dodged Rider's.[21] With the next update on the match, it is revealed that Team Yellow Green has inked 80% of the stage so far and that Team Blue was in big trouble along with Rider being a threat to Specs, Headphones and Bobble Hat combined.[22] Despite everything, Goggles was luckily able to avoid the Triple Inkstrike and then sneakily pantsed Rider[23] to then follow up with a splat and take him out.[24] This sent team Yellow Green into a panic[25] and allowed Team Blue to make a comeback[26] and start dominating them.[27] In the end, Goggles takes out[28] Rider with his powerful Inkzooka[29] and Team Blue ended up beating the S+ Rider and even dominating Team Yellow Green despite the massive skill difference between Rider and Team Blue.[30] One of Team Blue's matches in the Corocoro Cup was against the Orange Team Army,[31] with Army being a part of the S4. [32] The S4 is a group of S+ ranked inklings that are noted to have surpassed everyone else and even be far more stronger and skilled than Rider.[33] Rider even believes Team Blue would be completed stomped by Army's team. [34] Team Blue hoped they wouldn't get matched up against them but they once again were unlucky and ended up getting matched with Army's team.[35] They were even regarded as extremely weak to Army.[36] Even with all of Team Blue's practicing,[37] they were easily demolished and wiped out at the start of the match by Army's team.[38] Army's team is so skilled that they have knowledge from every battle they have ever been in so that they can see through any tactic to easily dominate in any battle and situation they are put in.[39] When Team Blue respawned, they were hit by Army's Echolocator,[40] a Special Weapon that allowed Team Orange to see Team Blue's location regardless of where they hide.[41] Team Blue tried to escape but their attempt was futile and they ended up getting wiped out once again with Team Orange seeing through all their tactics.[42] As the Turf War went on, Team Orange continued to completely cover the stage, putting Team Blue in trouble and even noted that there was nothing they can do that they can't see through.[43] Despite the situation, Goggles went inside a random Jellyfish's apartment to go eat curry[44] and this completely threw Army and his team off guard and into a panic due to the unexpectedness of it.[45] After this, Team Blue began cover up more of the stage to come back and Army's team got their focus back on track.[46] Despite this, Team Blue began to dominate Army's team even with the knowledge of their manuals and Team Blue began to be completely unpredictable to them.[47] With Team Blue once again going against all the odds, Goggles was able to take out Army with a final Inkzooka[48] and win the Turf War[49] despite their massive Rank[50] and skill difference.[51] After generally practicing a lot and beating several S+ ranks, Specs has regarded Team Blue to have gotten much stronger.[52] Goggles' gear has been regarded to be very beaten making the gears abilities power down which means he was able to win several Turf Wars against S+ ranks despite his gear's abilities not being functional.[53] He also had much stiffer movement with him regarding the new clothes he got to be much easier to move in.[54] As Goggles and Team Blue fought Team Green,[55] they began to dominate them[56] showing how they aren't[57] just the idiots of Inkopolis.[58] However, there was one Inkling that Goggles missed with his Inkzooka. Even after trying to hit him with it again,[59] he still casually dodges it[60] along with the rest of team blues attacks.[61] After the Turf War, the Inkling who dodged everything said that Team Blue's coordination is still lacking[62] and that they wont stand a chance against them. With everyone completely confused since Team Blue just beat Team Green,[63] the actual member of Team Green came out and revealed that they were an imposter.[64] It is then revealed[65] that it was Aloha, one of the members of the S4 and the leader of Team Pink and that the next match is Team Blue vs them.[66]
