Luke Cage is immune to being pierced by bullets due to his unbreakable skin.

Background

Pierce Resistance is the ability to resist piercing damages from attacks such as sword stabs, spear stabs, gun shots, etcetera. This ability is essentially a direct counter to Penetration Damage as the user is unaffected by piercing attacks. Pierce Resistance can range from being able to survive multiple piercing attacks to being outright Bulletproof or invulnerable these vary depending on the following types:

Types

  • Type 1: Standard Pierce Resistance
The character has higher resistance to piercing attacks, though they can still be pierced by attacks at their own level.
  • Type 2: Irregular Pierce Resistance
The character has a resistance to piercing attacks to the point where even attacks at their own level can't hurt them.
  • Type 3: Pierce Immunity
The character can't be pierced by attacks even if they are significantly above their level, whether this is due to special physiology or other abstract properties that make them impossible to physically damage.
