So for starters, we'll need a reference for our radius. Most people use 280ft from a windmill's average height. However, as stated [https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=33912 here], most turbines around 2006 failed to reach that height, which is around the time NMH1 takes place.

Using a 60 meters as our low-end, 70 for our mid-end, and 70 meters for our high-end, we can now get a radius of the explosion caused by Letz Shake's '''death'''.

Introduction

Howdy! Today we're calculating a feat that's been calculated several times before. I'm of course referring to Letz Shake dying a horrible death! As stated prior, this calculation has been done several times, with this verison essentially being the Warner version.

This version will not only be getting a number on the full explosion we see in the cutscene, but also Travis' durability for being a few meters away, which will be used for the key around this point in the game.

The Calculation

So for starters, we'll need a reference for our radius. Most people use 280ft from a windmill's average height. However, as stated here, most turbines around 2006 failed to reach that height, which is around the time NMH1 takes place. For this reason, I went ahead and used this source to get several height ends for us to use (The windmill in question appears to be rather small when compared to the highway road), and we'll be using a safe middle ground for the final calculation, which is seventy meters.

Full explosion

Windmill height = 87.2px
Explosion radius = 558.6px

448.417431188^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 7.24657805657 kilotons of TNT, Multi-City District level

Travis' durability

Now then, in the shot above, you'll notice a third measurement, which is the distance between the epicenter and Travis Touchdown.

Distance = 58.52 pixels

Using the square surface formula (A = (4πr^2)/2 since it's a ground explosion).

Before we go any further, we need a height and weight for Travis. For this part, I'm gonna compare him to, of all people, Johnny Knoxville, because that's who Suda51 based Travis on. Johnny is 6'1ft (1.842m), and weighs 77 kilograms. With that in mind, we can start getting some results.

Using the listed weight and height above, we get a body surface area of 2.01m², this makes the CA (49% of the BSA) 0.804.

I = (7246.57805657)/(4*pi*46.9770642197^2)

I = 0.26130719346 tons of TNT per m^2

0.26130719346*0.9849 = 0.25736145483 tons of TNT, Small Building level

Conclusion

  • Full-scale explosion: 7.24657805657 kilotons of TNT (8-A)
  • Travis' Share of the Explosion: 0.25736145483 tons of TNT (Low 8-C)
