Before starting this list, I just need to note the very simple things that get me to instantly vibe with a character.
-They're a detective<br>
-They use guns to fight against supernatural creatures<br>
-They have an animal familiar (preferably a cat)<br>
-They are able to fend for themselves<br>
-They have some interesting thing to do with religion.<br>
-Skilled supernatural hunter.<br>
-Mafioso guy.<br>

Freedom is Slavery
*'''1. Raidou Kuzunoha XIV:''' Oh boy. So before learning about this character I barely knew anything about the Shin Megami Tensei series and was never really interested in it. Then one day someone went to play Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha and I saw some gameplay and was like "Whoa that's pretty cool, I need to check this out." That's when I proceeded to watch a let's play of it and [https://youtu.be/FHtaqROGDOY hearing that opening], jesus. it filled me with nostalgia of a lot of my favorite series as a kid, then the actual character comes in and he's just so suave and cool. Raidou is not only a gunslinger, but a detective with a cat familiar that's stoic but also a troll. He's a chill dude that has a very simple task, protect the Capital from demons. His outfit compliments him too, and even though he's a silent protagonist his facial expressions show what he's thinking. What makes him even more cool is his arsenal, unlike most other Megami Tensei protagonist that use demons purely for battle, Raidou as a detective use them for battle alongside him along with using them for detective work, such as sending them to find clues he can't or enter rooms he can't, or using demons to move objects out of the way or get a person to admit something on their mind/read their mind. Then there's the second game with more of the same but it adds more personality to Raidou, showing what he feels and thinks all the way through. Then there's the manga, which furthers Raidou's personality and just shows how cool and chill of a dude he is. Easily my favorite character of all time apart of my favorite duology of all time the Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha series. I pray for another manga continuation or some anime release, or at least a third game, I need more Raidou man. Oh also, the Narumi Detective Agency is my favorite agency in all of fiction.

*'''2. Marty McFly:''' As a kid and even today my favorite live action movie franchise of all time is the Back to the Future franchise. What adds to this case is Marty McFly, specifically the live action one voiced by Michael J. Fox. Marty is in a way a relatable character and serves as the usual archetypal hero of the story, but what sets him different from a lot of them for me is that he just feels more like an actual person. Marty isn't the coolest kid in school but he still has a gf, the movie is not him trying to get the girl because he already has the girl. Marty isn't the greatest fighter but he can still throw hands, he's not a weakling nerd unlike his father George McFly. Marty isn't that smart but he also isn't stupid. He's a talented guitarist but he isn't the best at it. He has realistic flaws, he doesn't like what people say about him and that serves as his foil, listening to people calling him "chicken" sets him off and makes him lead into stupid mistakes. He's also a chill dude and his friendship with Doctor Emmet Brown makes it all the more better.

*'''3. Monkey D. Luffy:''' Man where do I start. Luffy is the embodiment of freedom in the One Piece series. He's a person that cares only about what he wants and what his friends want, no matter what the world thinks about it or how they react to it. He's brash, loud, and over his head but this is also what makes him a lovable character. Luffy sees the best in things and doesn't discriminate, he'll accept you for what you are but he will also punch your lights out for what you do. His morality is one of the most interesting things as he's not a good guy contrary to popular belief, he's purely neutral. His outlook is that he will do things only if it benefits him or if it's something his crew wants to do, meaning he's willing to be evil or good depending on the situation. Hell, he was plotting to steal treasure in Skypeia with no qualms or remorse which mind you while the Skypeians were just going to give it to them anyways so they didn't really care, Luffy didn't know that. He also has one of the most creative and cool abilities, the gum-gum fruit, an ability that's not too OP (well Gear 5th just made it but that's just general end game adventure series stuff) and also not too weak to be considered useless. The ability is as good as one's creativity and it's perfect for someone like Luffy. Luffy is straight up my favorite anime character.

*'''4. Takayuki Yagami:''' His introduction scene is great, a smart ex-lawyer whose also also a detective with a cool fighting style. Yagami is overall a chill dude that's hilarious to see his interactions with people and has a cool backstory for why he's no longer a lawyer. The Yagami detective agency falls in my second favorite fictional detective agency.

*'''5. Jack Sparrow:''' To be more specific here, I'm talking only Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow, no random novel or anything like that. Jack is awesome, not only is he a gunsling, sword fighting pirate, but he's also a triple backstabber that draws a fine line between genius and insanity. Everytime I see him in a scene he steals the show, he basically embodies the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Even the bad ones are enjoyable because he's there. Easily the 2nd best pirate I've seen in fiction.

*'''6. Ichiban Kasuga:''' Ichiban Kasuga is a very interesting character, apart of the japanese version of the Mafia, the Yakuza, where he grew up around all of the "low lives", showing how good the lower people of society really are and how much propaganda is surrounded by it. He's a very sympathetic character too due to how shitty of a life he has, viewing reality as Dragon Quest because he wants to be a hero. Dude is extremely chill and nice to add onto the symapthy and just a genuine good person at the end of the day.

*'''7. Tanya von Degurechaff:''' I've heard about Youjo Senki and Tanya a couple of times but I was turned off because I was lied to about her being a "loli hitler", Tanya is not that but rather a logical sociopath with a very understandable motivation. She's hilarious as hell too, the faces she makes in the manga and anime are perfectly hilarious since from the perspective of everyone this is a 9 year old girl saying this. Her slow growth of her actually starting to get genuine compassion for the members of her unit and her talks with them make it all the better. Oh also she uses guns.

*'''8. Link:''' Originally it was just Majora's Mask Link but thinking about it harder I pretty much like MM Link, WW Link, TP Link, SS Link, ST Link, and BoTW Link all about the same. While Link is famous for being a silent protagonist, he actually has tons of charm and personality. Overall a chill hero that likes to be a troll at times and has some pretty funny reply dialogue whenver the game gives you a chance to do it. With characters like Wind Waker, TP, & Skyward Sword being outwardly expressive in cutscenes without needing to speak. They're all cool dudes. Games like Majora's Mask show his growth through gameplay too showing just how much he grows in games. This is all without him barely speaking too.

*'''9. Reborn:''' Reborn is pretty much the reason why I even continued to watch Hitman Reborn past its first arc. He's a baby that suave and uses a animal familiar that turns into a gun, and he's straight up hilarious. His catchphrase is cool, his lack of fucks is funny, and when he gets serious he gives off an initimidating force even for a baby. Coolest and suavest character in the show by far. Also he's a mafia member, as a baby. Badass.

*'''10. Samus Aran:''' My reasons for liking her are pretty much the same as most other people's, she's a badass silent bounty hunter whose also hot as hell. Samus herself is also just a chill chick despite her stoic exterior, [https://youtu.be/rM5yIvDc9Sk?t=155 like this scene at the end of Metroid Prime 2 for example, just shows how cool she is]. While Other M is literal character assassination, we luckily do not have that Samus in any of the other games. Especially with Dread having casual body movements that just show her personality [https://youtu.be/bdTdUoSCfS4?t=67 such as when she learns the Chozo is friendly], [https://youtu.be/bdTdUoSCfS4?t=288 and her speaking is one of the best scenes in all of Metroid], and we're all going so crazy over this scene just from her ''speaking''. What more can I say. Also she has an arm cannon that's basically a gun.

*'''11. Serph:''' Serph is an example of a silent protagonist done right for me, he doesn't say anything but you can tell from his actions and reactions what he thinks and feels. The point of him is meant to be an emotionless soldier slowly gaining emotions and he just starts becoming cooler as the game progresses as he gets more emotions. [https://youtu.be/Sitg0_aO6gE?t=50 I think this scene from the opening of the second game perfectly shows how cool he is in fighting too]. He's stoic but also a cool leader that cares deeply for his team. Oh also he uses guns.

*'''12. Giovanni Potage:''' At first when I saw him in Epithet Erased I didn't really like him, thought he was going to be the generic Saturday morning cartoon villain (which ironically enough was what my fist thought of Papyrus was), and then Jello proceeds to go "yeah" and make Giovanni one of the most chill characters in the series. He's an idiot but a lovable one, he's also ironically the nicest character in the verse when he's both a villain and a bully. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ab0Ypr8vF2o&ab_channel=ZukieKins He has a sick ass theme]. Dude's just overall great.

*'''13. Stephen:''' Listen man, dude got injured by a demon paralyzing him and he still sits there giving you the most slick and smug smile in that wheelchair. Stephen's an interesting enigma in the fact that he's barely present but the few scenes I see im in are always great. His messages resonate pretty well, along with his belief in humanity's potential. Overall, cool and chill dude.

*'''14. Hajime Nagumo:''' Hajime is a character I describe as "edgy done right". He has a reason for why he's so brooding and mean, I mean he went through immense hell after one of his classmates betrayed him and made him fall. He's also a sick gun wielder that takes an interesting outlook for an isekai protagonist with his more chaotic vibes and stuff. Overall he's like that first OC you make but written well.

*'''15. Gabriel Van Helsing:''' Gabriel is a badass monster hunter who uses guns. That's the easiest way to summarize it, but let's go more in-depth. Gabriel is not only the human form of the angel Gabriel but a man with amnesia who still has a very interesting code of conduct, in that he will only kill evil and even then he will at least try and see if the evil is willing to change before he kills it (despite how much he just wants to blast them in the face). He carries these principals with him while also being a wise cracker, overall just an awesome dude with a cool weapon kit.

*'''1. David Xanatos:''' David Xanatos is just the perfect villain. I have never seen a kids tv show able to show a villain as terrifying and that no matter how many times the heroes actually beat them, they still end up winning. His very name is [https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/XanatosGambit now a fucking trope] at that. Xanatos is smartly written, greatly voiced, and gives a great and intimidating presence every time he's on screen.

*'''2. Doflamingo:''' Really great catalyst to Luffy's world view, empathetic backstory that isn't too sympathetic, really great power set that is both OP and not too Op that his loss is BS.

*'''3. Porky Minch:''' Dude is the literal perfect thing for a villain, completely evil and you hate every second of him.

*'''4. Ganondorf:''' Great intimidating villain, I have yet to see any other villains in the zelda series top him, my favorite portrayals of him are most def Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

*'''5. Doofenshmirtz:''' A villain so great he's almost not even a villain (almost). Great dad and hilarious dude, one of the best parts of Phineas and Ferb.

*'''6. Dr. Facilier:''' My fav disney movies villain dude has the songs and steals the show with any of his scenes.

*'''7. Giygas:''' Giygas turns from a super powerful mewtwo like alien to a full on eldritch abomination, love how the way you beat him isn't through sheer strength but either inflicting him with literal guilt or the positive prayers of everyone. The only reason he's so low is that he realistically only has around 2-3 scenes of actual presence.

*'''8. Lavos:''' Lavos is basically a lovecraftian eldritch monster that is such an intimidating presence and is such a great catalyst for a horror monster, every scene he's in fills you with dread and you're not even sure if you can't beat him and you're the one playing the game. My only real gripe is the writers clearly made him way too powerful for the plot and had to make literal macguffin's as an excuse to why the cast beats him.

*'''9. Magus:''' Magus is Piccolo done far better imo, great music, great introduction to his boss fight, great motivation, and it's cool you get him as a party member.

*'''10. Majora:''' Majora's an interesting villain as his core reason for doing everything is cause it's a literal game to him making.

*'''11. Green Goblin:''' I like Norman regardless of the continuity even when Ultimates made him some retarded ass adaption type dude. My favorite Norman obviously being Sam Raimi's.

*'''12. Hades (Disney):''' James Wood's Hades is just perfect, funny, evil, and all of that. There's not much more I can say other then that.

== Verses I Like==
<tabber>
|-|Video Games=<br>

*'''A Hat in Time:''' Easily my favorite 3D platformer of all time, it's such a unique, adorable, and fun platformer, the controls feel just right, and the physics just add it up. This was just my experience from the switch version too. The minute I got it on steam I learned how infinitely replayable this game is thanks to mods.

*'''Cris Tales:''' An RPG that takes a lot of elements from some of my favorite RPGs to make an interesting and engaging world. The characters are pretty cool, the combat system is neat, especially with it's past-future mechanic, the side quests aren't overly annoying and have incentive to them. My only real issue is the end game where it felt like they were crunching hard, the ending feels very rushed too, but apparently there's an added free DLC thing now with a new party member that may fix that, I haven't had the time to check it out though.

*'''Run:''' One of my childhood games I used to play all the time at the school library and still play today. Run is such an engaging and fun platforming game with unique alien designs and different abilities to keep up the pace. It's hard for me to decide whether I like Run 2 or Run 3 better but I think all games in this collection hold up. Defo recommend.

*'''Xenoblade Chronicles:''' Despite how annoying XC 1 elitists are on twitter and me not playing it in a while, I absolutely love and adore Xenoblade Chronicles 1, it's easily in my favorite games of all time.

*'''Hollow Knight:''' While I think it's overhyped as a metroidvania personally, that does not at all mean it's bad, Hollow Knight is a masterpiece of a metroidvania, and a game that I spent over 100 hours on.

*'''Sly Cooper:''' Old Sucker Punch mascot 3D platformer along with Ratchet and Clank/Jak & Daxter? All that needs to be said. Seriously though, this is a fun platformer that I have not played in a long while.

*'''Metal Gear Solid:''' This series taught me that you can have a game mainly focus on story and still have it be amazing. But to add the cherry on top, you have great stealth gameplay that makes me hate almost every other stealth segment in most other games.

*'''Furi:''' Furi is  a fun and action-packed boss rush with an intriguing story and a badass silent MC. Not much I can say.

*'''EarthBound/MOTHER:''' This series used to be my favorite game of all time, before a certain game toppled it, however that does not detract from the fact that EarthBound/MOTHER is one of the best RPG franchise I have ever played, with unique and quirky characters, a fun narrative, interesting combat mechanics, and much much more. I recommend everyone to play this, as my friend Rocky would say, "People actually like EarthBound? I thought that was a joke."

*'''Undertale:''' While not as good as I initially had it, this is still a very fun and great RPG with loads of quirky characters and a great story. I only wish the replayability was better because this is a game that sells on that.

*'''Deltarune:''' Chapter 1 was alright, though nothing special. Then Chapter 2 hit, and I realized how much I wanted from Undertale. Chapter 2 easily beat Undertale alone for me and I am so excited to see what more they have to offer.

*'''Kingdom Hearts:''' I have a love hate relationship with KH, mainly, I love the Tokyo Team (the guys that made Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2) and hate the Okasa Team (the guys that made BBS, DDS, 0.2, and Kingdom Hearts 3). I think games like Re:Coded are alright, but KH 3 is such a disappointment for me. But then I remember how Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is in my top 10 favorite games of all times and I have to say I am a fan of the series. Also I am of the group that likes Kingdom Hearts 1, I know a lot of people don't though. I am also cynically optimistic for Kingdom Hearts 4.

*'''Legend of Zelda:''' Zelda is one of my favorite verses of all time, big shocker, I know. I pretty much love every Zelda game except for Zelda 2 and ALTTP. Zelda 2 because it's just such a bad RPG game that could've been so much better, and ALTTP because it has one of the most stupid softlocks I've ever seen with the ice rod, and a lot of dungeons are just bleh. But then you have Majora's Mask, my favorite Zelda game of all time and one of my favorite games of all time. And then they have the nerve to follow up with a bunch of top tier 3D Zelda titles with great gameplay, dungeons, and a great story. Then Breath of the Wild happened and showed that Zelda could elevate even further. Overall my love for the Zelda series is way too high.

*'''The Strange Man Series:''' My second favorite RPG Horror series of all time, this is just a fantastic tetralogy that deals with the horrors of learning to overcome a specific problem in your life along with the occasional horror movie monster. The Crooked Man is a great mental horror with a great story and main character that goes through an amazing arc. The Sandman is a cool fantasy horror game that I never thought was a drama I needed with again, a great story and main character. The Boogeyman is a cool detective story and the main character Keith, is cool. The Hanged Man is alright but kinda disappointing and the main character is fine but can get a little too annoying at times. Mermaid Swamp is a fun game with an adorable main protag that's an air head and Paranoia was eh. Overall, this is such a great series, and this is made on RPG Maker of all platforms! I 100% recommend this franchise for anyone whose a fan of RPG Horrors.

*'''Desert Nightmare:''' Let me start off with saying, this game has one of the best atmospheres and OSTs I've heard in a horror game, and I know a majority of it might be stolen OSTs cause a lot of RPG Horrors do that, but god man, it's so good and fits so well. The premise is being trapped in a disinterested town of people after your parents leave you behind and you meet a cast of characters that you talk with as a weird monster is chasing you... then the game has to bring one of the most disappointing endings that nearly ruin the game for me. If it wasn't for it's atmosphere and OST I'd probably say I just hate this game.

*'''Celeste:''' Celeste is a beautiful 2D pixelated art style with tight controls and fun platforming challenges. It's a really fun game and one I highly recommend to people who are fans of the Super Meatboy esque games.

*'''Downwell:''' This is a fun little indie game I played on the PlayStation and couldn't put down, not much else to say other then it's fun.

*'''Fire Emblem:''' This is mainly just in reference to Awakening, but god it was just a fun tactical RPG game, with a fun story, interesting characters, and nice comedy from time to time. My only real issue is how they treat the grinding and leveling, and some of the missions are just straight up bullshit on harder difficulties. Now in terms of the rest of the Fire Emblem series? Uhhh, don't really care about 1 or it's remake, Three Houses looks fun but I haven't got it yet, and the GameCube one I really want to play cause everyone says it's the best fire emblem game so I'm interested.

*'''Metroid:''' It's normally hard for me to choose which I like more between Metroid and Zelda because this is just such a fantastic series. While the NES Game is bad, that's redeemed by the infinitely superior remake on the Gameboy advance. Super Metroid is incredibly fun, Metroid Prime is such a good game that me, who hates FPS games, loves it and it's easily my favorite part of the Metroid series. Metroid Dread is one of the best metroidvania's I ever played, and Other M is Other M. Overall fantastic series.

*'''Kirby:''' So at first I was just the regular Kirby fan, I liked the games but wasn't crazy about them, asides from Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards, but after Forgotten Land came out, I realized just how great this series is, Kirby is such a cute and simple character and it's cleverly juxtaposed with the world he's in, a nice and friendly world with Lovecraftian entities and evil people with some nice sob backstories to make you feel for them. Great series overall, but I hope they continue with the Forgotten Land gameplay for Kirby.

*'''Mario:''' Yeah no shit I like Mario, very few people don't lol. Regardless Mario has so many consistent quality titles throughout the years that I'd be here forever if I explained all of them. Super Mario World is an absolute jam, Mario 64 is a great and fantastic 3D platformer even if it's aged, Sunshine is amazing even if it has stupid level gimmicks, Galaxy is fantastic, 3D Land and World are absolutely fun and addicting, and Oddysey is just straight up top tier. My favorite Mario games however aren't the platformers surprisingly enough, but the RPGs, specifically Super Mario RPG: Legends of the Seven Stars and Mario & Luigi Superstar Sagas, I also absolutely adore Paper Mario 64. Most of the low points in Mario games I've had the pleasure of not playing so I don't really have much to say about them.

*'''Chrono Trigger:''' One of the best RPGs I've ever played, consistent quality all the way through, fantastic soundtrack, great battle mechanics, and an amazing story. I love it.

*'''Clock of Atonement:''' A great little phone RPG Horror like game that tells a sad tale where a guy with a clock can't get his happy ending.

*'''Five Nights At Freddy's:''' As much as the series has been bloated, I still do overall like this series for the most part. With FNAF 1, 2, and 4 I still consider pretty good games, and Security Breach I love the story for. Most of the other games I'm either okay with or don't like.

*'''Five Nights At Candy's:''' A fan-game of FNAF that's so good I unironically like it more then the actual FNAF, I like the concept behind it and the 3rd game introduces RPG Horror gameplay, so it knew how to grab me, it also has sweet old jazzy music and I like the HUD of FNAC 1 more then FNAF 1. FNAC 2 was kinda lame though, hope FNAC 4 is good.

*'''One Night At Flumpty's:''' One of my favorite FNAF fan games, I like the humor behind it along with the simplicity, my favorite though is easily ONAF 3, especially the [https://youtu.be/7P9s3wqBBmI electro swing song that plays near the end of the night].

*'''Terranigma:''' A fantastic action RPG on the SNES. What more can I say? My favorite genre is action RPGs.

*'''Mega Man:''' I like a lot of the classic games, the X series, and love Legends. Planning on playing the others eventually.

*'''Hitman:''' Love the stealth + assassin gameplay to it. Not much else to say honestly.

*'''Mortal Kombat:''' Not really a 2D fighter fan but Mortal Kombat has always stood out for me, my favorite is Mortal Kombat 9, though story wise there's a lot of stuff I don't like, doesn't stop from the fun gameplay with gorey deaths though.

*'''Lisa:''' A fun quirky RPG with a serious undertone, it's also a very emotional story under all the silliness too, gives me a lot of EarthBound vibes.

*'''OFF:''' OFF is a really interesting RPG game, it's meta without pulling you out of the game experience and just interesting to sit down and play through. Easily one of my favorite indie RPGs, I might like this even more then Undertale honestly.

*'''Suits:''' Suits is another really quirky RPG that has The Batter in it, which makes it even more cool.

*'''Infamous:''' Sucker Punch's game after Sly Cooper with the morality system and powers was really cool, did not like Second Son though.

*'''Minecraft:''' Minecraft is one of the most replayable games ever made, specifically when playing with friends. Playing Minecraft with friends is so much fun it's basically killed single player MC for me.

*'''Carmen Sandiego:''' Carmen Sandiego was a fun edutainment game back in the days that I grew up with so naturally with this, the cartoon, and the Netflix series I gravitated towards liking this series.

*'''Super Smash Bros.:''' Not as fond of Smash as I used to be, mainly because I grew out of fighting games, but Smash is still a hectic and fun game to play with friends all the same. My favorite being Brawl and my least favorite being Melee.

*'''Ape Escape:''' Fun little old PlayStation 3D platformer, not much else to say about this.

*'''Asura's Wrath:''' Love the story, music, and the climatic boss battles.

*'''God of War:''' Asura's Wrath's reasons and more, the added on gore definitely sold me when I was a kid.

*'''Cave Story:''' I think this is the first indie game I've ever played and it still stays as one of my favorites. Such a fun platforming metroidvania with an interesting story, characters, and gameplay. I've played this game now about 50+ times.

*'''Cuphead:''' The animation alone sells this game for me, but then there's a fun as hell run and gun behind that.

*'''Dead Rising:''' In a mall where I can use virtually anything to kill a bunch of zombies for fun? Sign me up. 3 is also pretty good. 4 is awful.

*'''Freedom Planet:''' This is literally just good Sonic, not much more to say. Though the voice acting is bad.

*'''Grand Theft Auto:''' Care nothing about the 2D universe, the 3D universe is where it's at. GTA 3 aged badly but it's still a nostalgic trip from when I used to play it for hours as a kid. Vice City and San Andreas are amazing, with San Andreas being my favorite GTA game of all time. Not a huge fan of the HD universe but I can get some fun out of them, I remember playing GTA IV a bunch too.

*'''Ib:''' This is straight up my favorite RPG Horror game, it has such a unique atmosphere with the horror setting being an art museum allowing for abstract horror, an amazing OST, and great characters. My only real gripe is I'm not too happy with the ending, but I feel like that was the intention.

*'''Mad Father:''' Another amazing RPG Horror. Great visuals, great story, great characters, cool horror setting, what more can I say? The remake on switch amps everything up too. P.S. Aya isn't evil for the love of god.

*'''Walking Dead:''' I like Telltale season 1 and 2, do not like season 3 and love season 4. Clementine is an all time great and I like Lee.

*'''No More Heroes:''' Fun hack and slash with a cool as hell funny character. Nothing more I can say beyond that. I hate Travis Strikes again though.

*'''Paladins:''' This is a fun enough Overwatch replacement.

*'''Town of Salem:''' Among Us but good, yeah I said it. Though the community is just as stupid and toxic.

*'''Silent Hill:''' I'm pretty sure this and Clock Tower inspired RPG Horrors, especially since every RPG Horror I've watched almost always has Silent Hill music in the game. I like RPG Horrors, so by proxy I also like Silent Hill.

*'''Clock Tower:''' Straight up the granddaddy of horror games and one of the inspiriations for RPG Horrors I bet. While the game doesn't hold up as well today I think the playstation version is still really good and fun.

*'''Soul Calibur:''' Fun 3D fighting game. Specifically Soul Calibur 2 cause it has Link in it.

*'''Uncharted:''' Basically just Indiana Jones turned into a video game and I love it.

*'''Okami:''' Zelda but with a wolf, what more do I have to say?

*'''Wii Sports:''' I grew up playing the hell out of this game on my wii, such a fun sports game.

*'''Final Fantasy:''' Funny cause I haven't played that many FF games. I enjoy FF8 despite it's many issues, I don't like FF7, I like FF Tactics Advance, and I'm planning on replaying FFX and FFXIII sometime in the future.

*'''Pikmin:''' Probably the only real time strategy game I care about. I've played and beaten the Pikmin series over 50+ times for each game, with my favorite being Pikmin 2/3 and my least favorite being Pikmin 1. Hey Pikmin! does not count in my eyes. I absolutely adore Pikmin with it's unique world, quirky mascot characters that make you feel bad for getting even one of them killed without them having to spout a single line of dialogue, and a fun battle system with a time limit to keep you on your toes. Definitely recommend.

*'''F-Zero:''' F-Zero GX is great and a fun racing game. F-Zero on the SNES doesn't have a 2 player mode which defeats the entire purpose of a racing game. Don't remember much about F-Zero X.

*'''Starfy:''' Starfy is a game made by the same people that made Kirby apparently, and it's a pretty fun aquatic platforming game. The platforming kind of hampers when you're out of the water, but when you're in the water it's actually really fun. Probably the only game where I prefer water levels to ground levels. Not much to say for the story or characters since barely any of it is translated.

*'''Shantae:''' Great platformer/metroidvania series with a cute half-genie, responsive controls, and great exploration. Overall it's an A+.

*'''Devil Summoner:''' So this basically has to be my favorite franchise of all time purely because it has the Raidou Kuzunoha series. The Raidou Kuzunoha series are amazing games with amazing characters, a great action RPG combat system, detective work, a jazzy as hell soundtrack, and interesting lore. The Raidou Kuzunoha games are easily my favorite games of all time and beat out Mother. The first Devil Summoner suffers from the issue of using old SMT gameplay which I hate, but it's characters, music, and other mechanics almost make me ignore it enough to love it. I hate Soul Hackers though, the only interesting character is Nemissa, asides from that everyone else is boring as hell and has little to no development.

*'''Shin Megami Tensei:''' This is a weird one because I basically hate the first 3 games but like the last 3 of the mainline SMT series. SMT 1 & 2 I do not like the gameplay of one bit, and the leveling system is done so weirdly that it doesn't even feel like I get stronger when I level up. This is doubled by the fact that my friend David while playing SMT 1 at one point used a hack to put himself at level 99 and wasn't even close to one-shotting enemies because he didn't have higher leveled equipment. Demons also not being able to level up is just dumb. Dungeons normally look the same where you move so it's easy to get lost, and I don't really think SMT 1's story or characters holds up. SMT 2 is obviously inspired by Megami Tensei 2's story which I liked so it gets a pass there. SMT Nocturne however? I do not like one bit, arguably one of my least favorite games of all time. Demi-fiend is such a bland protagonist, I don't like his design, the compressed music just doesn't sound right, the game has an interesting start up but just dips in quality afterwards, with boring repetitive random encounters that can be easily swatted away with auto battle. It got so bad to the point that I dub any game where I'm using the auto battle feature in: "Nocturne gameplay". Along with this only the first boss is "difficult" and that's only if you don't understand the buff and debuff system, almost every other boss I've faced so far in my playthrough have been easy as hell. Not even my favorite character, [[Raidou Kuzunoha XIV]], being in this game is enough to save it, I just dislike this game, especially after playing SMT V. SMT IV & IVA on the other hand fixes almost every issue I have with Nocturne, Flynn, even as a silent protagonist, feels interesting, the observation mechanic is a cool extra to boss battles, fuck getting to the neutral route, but I have to do it cause Isebeau. Also fun combat with a really cool smirk mechanic. Then there's obviously SMT V, I've put over 100 hours into the game and it's easily one of my favorite modern RPGs, the story isn't too amazing but it's serviceable and keeps me wanting for more, the press turn combat from Nocturne is perfected here and makes it where every battle isn't an auto battle requirement. Also in IV, IVA and V there's no random encounters so there's also that. So I love the later entries but hate earlier entries of the mainline games.

*'''Megami Tensei Spinoffs:''' Ok so mainly this is Devil Survivor and Digital Devil Saga I'm talking about, both of those are great games and they should get more recognition.

*'''Yakuza/Judge Eyes:''' I have thus gotten into it and I can say this is already breeching into my top 10 game series, amazing visuals, great combat, great music, great characters, great stories, this is just all around a banger. There are some bad games in this series but the good ones far out shadow them. I'd recommend this series to anyone interested in action games. It's also a mini-game collection that's somehow good.
|-|Manga/Anime=<br>

*'''Sailor Moon:''' Turned out I liked this manga a lot. Well written manga with a pretty neat protagonist. I'd go more into detail but I'm writing this pretty late, maybe I'll update this at some point.

*'''Tenkuu Shinpan:''' A great horror manga that turns rapidly supernatural near the end.

*'''Noragami:''' Cool supernatural series about gods and ghosts. One of my favorites.

*'''Hungry Joker:''' This was a cool manga series based off special powers and stuff, nothing much else to say, sucks that it got canceled.

*'''Parasyte:''' This is another supernatural manga that takes a philosophical approach to things, it's very interesting and a great watch/read.

*'''One Piece:''' My favorite anime of all time and apart of my favorite things of all time, One Piece is such a great epic of journey, an amazing philosophical goal anyone can relate to and over hundreds of interesting characters and locals. May be mainstream, but it's amazing.

*'''Grenadier:''' Another classic manga with an adorable main protagonists that's as fun as she is hot.

*'''Witch Hunter:''' Another great manga that easily became one of my favorites.

*'''Instant Death:''' One of the few isekais I'm interested in cause of the twist it brings.

*'''Big Order:''' From what I remember of this cause I haven't read it in forever, I liked it a lot.

*'''Mysterious Life of Saiki K:''' Great comedy manga with a cool cast and a great main protagonist.

*'''One Punch Man:''' Despite what most people will try to say about this series, any claim that it's bad/bland because "the main character is OP" misses the entire point of the manga/anime and they should actually watch/read it before saying that. OPM is a great re-contextualization of the Shonen genre with great characters and a good moral lesson hidden beneath it. Also Saitama is actually chill so calm down you fucks.

*'''Overlord:''' One of the few isekais I'm interested in, but I haven't read it in forever cause chapters take forever to update.

*'''Petals of Reincarnation:''' Haven't finished this but I remember liking what I read, but from what a friend of mine told me it gets worse, so uh oh.

*'''Ajin:''' Found out it was made by the same creator as Tenkuu Shinpan which was cool. Ajin itself I'd say is the weaker of the two stories but it's still a pretty cool manga all together.

*'''Hitman Reborn:''' While I dislike regular Tsuna when he isn't in Dying Will, Reborn straight up steals the show for this series and all the other characters are great, along with a fun plot. Also, it has mafia stuff in it, one of my 4 favorite story elements to add into a story, so yeah.

*'''Fox Spirit Matchmaker:''' From what I see I think the anime came out first cause the manga from the site I read it on only had like 6 chapters, but it follows the anime for the most part which I liked so yeah.

*'''Mikizami Verse (Spirit Circle, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, & a couple of his others):''' Mikizami writes shit that is depressing but also fun and engaging. A really interesting read which each of his works, my favorite so far being Spirit Circle.

*'''Beserk:''' Really great gorey fantasy manga series and Guts is such a badass.

*'''Inuyasha:''' So would this technically count as an isekai? I dunno. Regardless, Inuyasha is a classic and a jam.

*'''The Devil is a Part-Timer:''' I both read the manga and watched the anime for this, both are great and we're finally getting an S2 so les go.

*'''Soul Eater:''' One of my favorite manga/animes, has cool ass characters, great fights, and more.

*'''Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism:''' It's a show about a literal chad not allowing himself to lose his freedom. All I needed to hear. I want a S2 so bad for the anime.

*'''Chainsaw Man:''' Love this manga so much, along with the art style, really cool, slick, and dirty. Just my style.

*'''D.Gray-Man:''' I've read some of it and already liked what I read from that.

*'''Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu:''' Normally for isekais to interest me, I need some kind of twist to it. For this, the MC puts on a farce that he's this badasss demon lord but he's actually a scared as shit guy on the inside, makes for hilarious encounters and an enjoyable enough read due to that.

*'''Medaka Box:''' Medaka Box is a fun read with an interesting power system that's clearly meant to follow the Shonen thing of overpowered abilities and it's funny but also engaging.

*'''Mob Psycho 100:''' The other golden child of ONE, Mob Psycho is usually in constant argument of whether this is better or OPM, personally I'm more of a OPM guy, but that does not stop Mob Psycho 100 from being great and amazing.

*'''The Strongest Girl:''' I can't find a site to read it anymore sadly but from what I read it was a cute little slice of life with some hilarious comedy.

*'''Yu Yu Hakusho:''' One of the all time classics and GOATs, do not understand how this dude went from this to Hunter X Hunter.

*'''Ao Oni:''' While I hate the game, the anime is actually a funny watch that constantly makes fun of how stupid the game is, I'm all for that.

*'''Kirby Right Back At Ya!:''' Despite it having a 4kids dub, it still turned out to be pretty good, and a fun watch. Good job on this one 4kids.

*'''Bakugan:''' This is more so of a guilty pleasure then legitimately liking it. Like this show is full of generic Saturday morning anime shit but it's still a nostalgic field trip that's fun to watch.

*'''Kakegurui:''' A gambling anime/manga with a mentally insane protag that gets off to gambling anything. Now this is my kind of anime/manga.

*'''Wakfu:''' Technically it's not an anime and more so an animated series but I digress. Asides from the awful English dub, Wakfu is a pretty fun series with great villains and a cool cast of characters, my favorite being Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove. It also has a really good relationship written in it. So yeah, great show.

*'''Durarara!!:''' This show/manga will show you all around the city with stylized different scenes and great characters all around. This show will also throw twist after twist on you making it even more exciting to watch.

*'''Erased/The Town With No Name:''' Both the manga and anime have different endings, and even though a lot of people don't like the anime ending, I personally don't mind it. Erased is a great murder mystery series even if I kind of figured out the killer by the 4th episode. With an interesting supernatural ability, great characters, and tragic moments, this is definitely a keeper.

*'''Case Closed:''' So I haven't finished this series and probably never will cause the only other series I will devote 1000+ episodes/chapters to is One Piece, Hajime no Ippo, and Professional Wrestling. But Case Closed is about a detective that solves detective cases, all I needed to know to get hooked on this.

*'''Devilman Crybaby:''' Hated the ending but overall a really good series with great visuals and cool animation.

*'''Mirrai Nikki:''' This is another guilty pleasure, like the anime/manga is just straight up awful but it's a so bad it's good for me. Though I hate Yuuto with every fiber of my being.

*'''Beelzebub:''' If only this didn't get cancelled, it was such a fun show to watch but of course it got canned so it's full potential will never be realized nor seen now.

*'''Gintama:''' So I was expecting when coming into this anime to watch primarily a comedy show, but there are so many well written feel scenes in this show along with great action and comedy that this is an all time GOAT for me. I also just love Gintoki.

*'''Hayate the Combat Butler:''' Haven't watched it in a while but it was a fun comedy butler series.

*'''Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?:''' So if I take this as an action anime meant to be taken seriously, it falls flat pretty instantly. If I take this as a comedy, harem anime (which it just fucking is) this show is great.

*'''Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt:''' Two hot girls that parody anime the show, all I needed.

*'''Wolfs Rain:''' It's been forever since I've watched this but it's made by the same creator of the Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Space Dandy. How the hell am I not going to like this?

*'''Cowboy Bebop:''' This is easily one of my favorite animes ever created, it's distinctive sound, style, and grace, Spike is one of the GOATS, and the cast is overall great. I don't think there's a single episode of the anime that bores me either from what I remember.

*'''Samurai Champloo:''' It's made by the same creator of Space Dandy, like what more do you need then that? But the show alone is great still, great characters, amazing samurai sword fights, and a really well done ending.

*'''Space Dandy:''' So made by the creator of Cowboy Bebop, has a GOAT protagonist, has great music, has great animation, and has great stories? Yeah no, easily an S tier anime.

*'''God of Highschool:''' While I haven't watched it in a while, when I initially watched it, I liked it a whole lot. Gave me old school Dragon Ball vibes.

*'''Kill La Kill:''' Loved everything of what I watched with this anime. Really good, fast and frantic. Studio Trigger has some amazing animation too.

|-|Cartoons=<br>

*'''Star Vs. The Forces of Evil:''' This is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. I feel like a consistent issue I have with most of these calarts shows is that they have way too much filler that bloats out the interesting shit. Initially, Star had this issue in season 1 and somewhat in season 2 but not nearly as bad, but then season 3 and onward is consistent interesting shit. I know people don't like season 4 for whatever reason but that season is arguably my favorite along with the ending being really good to me. This series has great characters, interesting lore, and great villains (asides from Ludo). Also no people Star did not commit infinite genocide, think for like two seconds, that fact that so many people believe that is as stupid as the Goku is a bad father thing that was originally intended as a meme.

*'''The Owl House:''' Another pretty cool calarts show, it suffers from the issue I mentioned above for season 1 but from what I watched of season 2 they're slowly fixing that. With how short season 3 is going to be this probably means there will be next to no filler, so there's that.

*'''Danny Phantom:''' This is literally just Spider-Man if he was a ghost and I love everything of it, even S3 which most people think kind of fell flat I liked a lot, though I will agree the ending was kind of lame.

*'''Pucca Funny Love:''' Many people take a look of clips of this series and ask why do I like it. Well the answer is simple, it's a nice slice of life series with a comedic overpowered chick chasing after a one-sided love with this ninja dude that's hero of a village. Though even then some will argue their relationship is genuine it's just Garu is nervous or whatever. Doesn't matter to me, what matter is the frantic action put in these short 8 episode stories putting together a fun and enjoyable cartoon series.

*'''Ed Edd n Eddy:''' This is my favorite cartoon series of all time. It's such a funny and frantic series that give such a nostalgic feeling whenever I watch it. Even the theme song itself is clever, it's the creator literally just whistling. Also almost all of the characters are hilarious in their own way. Consistent entertainment comes from rewatching these episodes cause they're so rewatchable. I even love the closure ending we got from the Big Picture Show, though I still wonder to this day along with a lot of other fans what the hell scam they did exactly, but we'll probably never know.

*'''Boondocks:''' One of my favorite cartoon intros of all time to the point that I use it as my phone ring tone, great writing, hilarious characters, and lots of deep interesting subtext that you could blink and miss. A lot of these episodes you can rewatch 5 times over and learn hundreds of different lessons the episodes are trying to show you, asides from S4 where the creator left. Excited as hell for season 5.

*'''Invader Zim:''' The fact that this only had 2 seasons is a crime. This is a great comedy show with interesting worldbuilding and great action scenes. Mind you this show was made by someone that originally drew graphic adult comics, so just goes to show you.

*'''Amazing World of Gumball:''' I think this is one of the only modern day cartoon network shows I genuinely like. Great comedy all around, somehow gets me to laugh out loud.

*'''Ben 10:''' Now unlike most other people, I like Alien Force more then the original series, but I still love the original series. Ultimate Alien is pretty cool. Do not care for omniverse at all.

*'''Samurai Jack:''' Banger intro, great action, great animation, great villain, great characters this is a true classic in every way.

*'''Powerpuff Girls:''' A show where even as a kid you wouldn't be made fun of by guys for watching it, cause they knew damn well they watched it too. Great show with great violence and action. I think this was most kids introductions to subversions, the show on the surface looks like a cutesy girly show but then you see Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are all actually badass superheroes.

*'''Rick and Morty:''' I've recently fully watched through it and god did I love it. The show is hilarious, interesting, and engaging. Rick Sanchez is one of the most interesting cartoon characters I've ever seen, with the most confusing morality at that.

*'''Courage the Cowardly Dog:''' An all time classic that everyone needs to watch at some point. I love Courage, the show and the character. The name at first seems to be a joke because he's a coward but then you see that he's the bravest character in the show, willing to do anything to save his family. This is truly a good boy.

*'''Legends Quest/La Leyenda:''' Random series I found on Netflix and it was a pretty entertaining watch.

*'''Infinity Train:''' Watched through S1 so far and remembered liking it, but I haven't watched it in a while.

*'''Total Drama Island:''' Mainly the first one and the sequel series, the other ones I don't really like.

*'''Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy:''' My introduction to dark humor, and a great introduction at that, such a fun and great watch.

*'''Codename KND:''' As a kid, I genuinely wanted to join a KND, too bad I was too old. Yeah that's totally the reason.

*'''Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends:''' I want to fuck Franki- I mean the show is great, yeah.

*'''Generator Rex:''' Haven't watched it in a while but remember liking it as much as I liked Ben 10 Alien Force.

*'''Teen Titans:''' This is I think my introduction to superhero cartoons, this or TAS Spider-Man, don't remember for sure. Both are great and this show is so cool with it's anime artstyle, great characters, villains, songs, and action. An overall S tier show.

*'''Ninjago:''' Only really remember earlier seasons but I liked it a lot.

*'''DCAU:''' I think I like virtually ever show from the DCAU. Static Shock being my favorite, Batman Beyond being tied with TAS Superman, and TAS Batman which speaks for itself. Also of course the Justice League cartoons which are all amazing. Basically if you want to see why people like DC Comics, you watch these cartoons.

*'''Dexter's Laboratory:''' Now crazily enough I don't remember much of this series since it's been forever since I watched it, but from what I do remember I like what I remember a lot.

*'''Hilda:''' This was a great adventure series that kind of reminded me of Gravity Falls in a way. Great visuals, music, and settings. Hilda is also just adorable.

*'''Puss in Boots:''' I don't know why I like this or how I like this, but hey. it's pretty alright.

*'''Carmen Sandiego:''' Both the 2019 Netflix Series & Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego are great watches. Where in the World is a fucking edutainment series that's actually really entertaining and the Netflix Series takes us into an idea of "Who is Carmen Sandiego". Carmen is such a great character whether she's a hero or a villain and I love how she's a villain that's actually really sweet in Where in the World. Overall GOATs with a GOAT character with Carmen.

*'''Adventures of Jimmy Neutron:''' This is like Dexter's Laboratory but I like it more. That's about all I can say, this show is great, watch it.

*'''Epithet Erased:''' So for some context I originally watched Hazbin Hotel and thought "Wow this is pretty good animation, the writing is eh, but I doubt interenet series can do much anyways." Then I saw Epithet Erased and went "wow Hazbin Hotel sucks". Epithet Erased's major "flaw" for some is it's animation, I think personally it's unique and adds more comedy to scenes but the writing for this show is so damn good. And the music, ooh the fucking music, it's a motherfucking masterpiece. I think I have Giovanni's theme as my main profile song, give that a listen, give the entire soundtrack a listen, then watch the show, it's so fucking good.

*'''Avatar the Last Airbender:''' Many people argue this is one of the best animated cartoons ever and they wouldn't be wrong. Avatar is a jam and a half, great characters, comedy, aciton, story, and a very compelling villain in Zuko. The fire lord and Azula are also really cool. The absolute GOAT of course, being Uncle Iroh.

*'''Code Lyoko:''' Theme song for this slaps. The 3D animation is kind of shaky and their foreheads are way too large but overall it's a fun kid series with a lot of fun loops to go through.

*'''Looney Toons:''' Wacky shorts with a bunch of great and funny characters? Enough said.

*'''Tom and Jerry:''' Probably one of the best animated slapstick duos ever, specifically the original series. You know the Tom and Jerry cartoon is good when Tom has the correct scream.

*'''Wander Over Yander:''' Pretty fun theme song, and a pretty cool show.

*'''Phineas and Ferb:''' I wondered for so long how this writing was so clever and I came to learn the writer and creator of this series wrote some of the old season Spongebob episodes, now that makes sense.

*'''Spongebob Squarepants:''' For note this is mainly in regards to season 1-3, there are some gems hidden under a mountain of bad in future season Spongebob episodes, like the crane episode, but overall OG S1-S3 Spongebob is one of the best written comedy shows around. The jokes are so clever and witty, the characters connect so well, and the movie was a blast. This would probably be my second favorite cartoon of all time if it wasn't for Season 4 and on.

*'''Chowder:''' God this is such a great and funny show. Like I don't even know what else to say, the show is fucking hilarious, go check it out.

*'''El Tigre:''' A great nickelodeon series that deserves a third season. Manny's neutral concept throughout the show is interesting and the show is overall pretty funny with a great cast of characters and villains. Also Zim's VA is in this show so.

|-|Comics=<br>

*'''Spider-Man:''' Spider-Man comics can always be hit or miss because Marvel has so many writers and rarely any of them are good. But god man when you get that peak Spider-Man comic it almost washes out all of the bad stuff. Spider-Man is just such an interesting superhero that's relatable and in my top 3 favorite superheroes of all time, the others being Hellboy and Daredevil.

*'''Boondocks:''' I've read the original comic strips of the Boondocks and they're just as hilarious and cleverly written as the show, go figure.

*'''Invader Zim:''' I binged through the entire Invader Zim comics within a day, they're great, amazing even.

*'''Archie Comics:''' Archie comics will always be a nostalgic memory to me, my favorite character is Jughead. Though I also really love the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series, specifically the 90s and 70s continuity. They're such funnny and light hearted stories. I do want to give chilling adventures of Sabrina a shot some day though.

*'''Hellboy:''' A paranormal detective that's also a demon that uses a gun and a giant right arm but is also a nice guy? Why do the movies not make this work?

*'''Ghost:''' She and Hellboy had a crossover so naturally I read her series and it's pretty good.

*'''Garfield:''' Love me some Garfield, funny cat.

|-|TV Series=<br>

*'''Big Bang Theory:''' I know a lot of people don't like this, but I have so much nostalgic memories of watching this series with my mom + I think it's still pretty funny today.

*'''The Order:''' I need to rewatch this series again so I can watch season 2. Was a pretty good supernatural show.

*'''Twilight Zone:''' All time classic series with a cool narrator and great mini-stories. I don't really like the newer one but I digress.

*'''Stranger Things:''' I seriously need to catch up with this, it's so fucking good.

*'''Lucifer:''' I need to watch S5 I love this series so much.

*'''Sherlock:''' I love what I watched of this, but I'm scared cause a lot of people said the ending was bad.

*'''The New Legends of Monkey King:''' Haven't watched this in a long while but I remember liking it.

*'''Walking Dead:''' To preface, up to like, season 6 I think. Afterwards I stopped caring about this series. Season 2 is also pretty dumb.

|-|Movies=<br>

*'''Star Wars:''' Only the original trilogy, it's such a great trilogy that I don't need to be reminded of the prequel trilogy. Madalorian and Jefi Fallen Order also brought me back into Star Wars after I was pretty much done with the franchise after so much bad stuff. Also Battlefront 2 2006 is the best war shooting game, don't @ me.

*'''Bruce Almighty:''' Hilarious ass movie with a great message underneath. Morgan Freeman as god is perfect and Jim Carey plays such a hilarious roll.

*'''Princess and the Frog (One with Dr. Facilier):''' I think this is just my favorite Disney Animated movie without counting Pixar. Also has one of my favorite villains of all time, Dr. Facilier.

*'''Coraline:''' Amazing art style with this movie and such a cool concept with the Other World. It's a horrifying kids movie and it works so well.

*'''The Incredibles:''' Easy S tier Pixar movie that's as much of a superhero movie as it is a family movie. God it's so good.

*'''Toy Story:''' This is the only series I've seen to have four movies and all of them be S tier movies. How the hell did that happen?

*'''Cars:''' God Cars is such a good duology. Though it's weird how there's only Cars and Cars 3. I guess cause Cars 3 has 3 cars as the main focal point.

*'''Monsters Inc.:''' Another S tier Pixar series. Unlike a lot of other people I think Monsters University is an S tier movie too. Both of these movies are so good and bring us into the interesting monster world. Monsters at Work though? Awful. The only good parts about it is when Sully and Mike are on screen for me.

*'''A Bugs Life:''' I sometimes kind of forget this movie exists, it's not bad, it's actually really good, but it's one of the more forgettable Pixar movies due to the movies it was around during the time.

*'''Finding Nemo:''' Great, amazing movie. Finding Dory is pretty good too.

*'''Ratatouille:''' While it's one of the weaker Pixar movies for me mainly because of a filler sub-plot with the rat family that I really don't care about, the main plot is so entertaining and enjoyable and it has cooking which is always great.

*'''Inside Out:''' Great modern Pixar movie with a really good lesson and an interesting premise with the world of emotions in your head. Great movie overall.

*'''Onward:''' This is kind of like A Bugs Life for me, it's a great movie, don't get it twisted, but I forget it exists half the time honestly, again I think this is because I watched it around the same time I watched Soul.

*'''Luca:''' I feel so bad for Luca that it was the movie I watched right after Soul. Literally no expectation could be lived up to by that point. But that doesn't make this movie bad by any means, it's still a great pixar film all together.

*'''Up:''' This movie has one of the best opening 5 minutes to any movie ever, and it's without any voice acting whatsoever. Then they somehow made a godlike TV mini series adapatation with Dug Days, that show is so good and it's shocking.

*'''Wall-E:''' Used to be my favorite Pixar movie of all time before Soul happened. Wall-E has like no filler and is just a great entertaining watch all the way through, and it manages to do this with barely and voice acting.

*'''Soul:''' Easily my top 1 favorite Pixar movie of all time. Has such a great message and fantastic visuals, one of the few movies to legitimately make me cry.

*'''Coco:''' Another Pixar movie that legitimately made me cry, it's such a great movie with an interesting premise of an afterlife, similar to how soul tackles it.

*'''The Book of Life:''' Made by the same dude who made El Tigre and it shows, his comedic writing and timing is there all the way, I always think of this when I think of Coco and vice versa, they're very similar in concept but very different and distinct in execution. I recommend both of them.

*'''The Matrix:''' I like the first movie a lot. I kind of like Reloaded mainly for it's action scenes. Revolution bored me.

*'''Harry Potter:''' I like the first 3 films a lot, the rest aren't really for me honestly.

*'''Lilo & Stitch:''' Great Disney movie series.

*'''Sonic:''' Sonic is literally the definition of hit or miss for me. The live action Sonic movies? Love both of them. Sonic 3? Love it. Sonic Mania? Love it. Sonic Adventure? Love it. Sonic CD? I like it. Sonic Advance? I like it. Sonic Rush? Pretty alright. I don't really like Adventure 2, I only like playing like 3 stages of Sonic and Shadow, Heroes would've been good if it didn't have awful controls and repetitive level design, though Frog Forest is a really good level for Team Sonic. Shadow the Hedgehog is just laughable, and I like none of the boost formula games. Lost World was a disappointment for me too cause it could've been fun if they weren't so lost in focus. Did not like Frontiers, though I do want to check out the Dream game as it looks like it'd be fun to play. Project 06 is a fan game but I wish that was how 06 actually was. IDW comics were also pretty cool from what I read. So yeah this series is a major hit or miss for me.

*'''Castlevania:''' There's only two games of note I really care about in the series, Super Castlevania IV and Symphony of the Night. I like none of the NES games and don't really care about the later Metroidvania games.

*'''Bravely Series:''' So the voice acting is bad, and the combat can get repetitive. But the combat can also be interesting with the brave mechanic and Magnolia is great.

*'''Dark Cloud:''' Don't really like the dungeon crawling aspects of the game + the boss fights in the first game are literal rhythm games... why?

*'''Dead By Daylight:''' This is a game that's solidified as a "I'll play if friends want to play, otherwise nah".

*'''Shovel Knight:''' Haven't really cared for it like others have, it looks alright but meh.

|-|Manga/Anime=<br>

*'''Darwin's Game:''' I liked the first half of the manga all before the dude went edgy and the series just tanked by that point for me.

*'''The Isolator:''' I liked the manga overall, just don't like how short it was and how the manga was just a huge advertisement to read the LN.

*'''D.I.C.E.:''' So this series started out pretty strong, then it gradually got more and more boring as time went on, shame too, I was interested somewhat by the concept.

*'''Sonic X:''' On one hand, childhood nostalgia, on the other, the first arc is a bunch of boring filler episodes and by the time we get to the second arc and get to the adventure stuff it's kinda settled in like 2-3 episodes? I'm confused. Also Chris Thorndyke is like the worst living character ever made. The chick in the wheelchair that Sonic was with for an episode should've been his human pal in the series, it's literally a perfect dynamic. A guy that loves running and freedom meets a girl restricted by a wheelchair and shows her freedom in another way. How the hell did the writers miss that?

*'''Vampire Knight:''' I barely even remember it so I have no real opinion.

*'''Blue Exorcist:''' I was somewhat interested for the first 15 episodes then got bored.

*'''Naruto:''' Part 1 is pretty good and cool. Part 2 is awful. War Arc is awful. The new series Boruto is beyond awful.

*'''Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan:''' I barely remember this beyond that they randomly rushed the ending. Uhhh ok then?

*'''K:''' This was an anime that just felt way too rushed. The ending comes out of nowhere.

*'''B:''' Barely remember this so can't give a real opinion.

*'''Deadman Wonderland:''' Some things interested me, like the prison aspect of the series, but beyond that and it's ending which apparently it's never getting a second season, it was only really alright for me.

|-|Cartoons=<br>

*'''Amphibia:''' I was initially interested with it's premise and stuff, especially when the S2 finale hit. But jesus man, this show is filled with useless filler that gets nothing done. Also the series finale was so formulaic and boring that I'm lost on how anyone praised it. Definitely the weaker of the modern cal arts shows.

*'''Gravity Falls:''' I'm gonna try to re-watch this but initially it was only alright for me and nothing amazing. But this was before Bill was introduced, so.

*'''Adventure Time:''' Adventure Time is such a weird series for me. I think the young Marceline and Simon episodes are some of the best episodes I've seen in a cartoon period. But those episodes kind of uh, ruined the rest of the show for me lol. It's alright but some episodes are just boring, and there's just too much filler for me. But the baking pancakes song is pretty good.

*'''OK Ko Let's Be Heroes:''' I watched a couple of episodes and thought it was pretty cool, I might give it a rewatch someday, but I think it might be too much filler for me, we'll see.

|-|Comics=<br>

*'''Marvel/DC Comics:''' Literally the definition of hit or miss. I could sometimes get some of the best stories ever in media or I can get some of the worse ever in media that reminds me how much I hate Marvel/DC writers. Modern Marvel and DC aren't looking too good either so there's that too.

*'''Modern Archie Comics:''' So a lot of the modern crap for Archie I don't really care for. Mainly talking about the newest Sabrina comics, really do not like them.

|-|TV Series=<br>
Soon.

|-|Movies=<br>
*'''Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU):''' So like, MCU is such a mixed series for me. I like the first two Iron Man movies, I like the Spider-Man movies, I like Guardians 1 & 2, I like Doctor Strange, and I like Black Panther. Other then that I either don't care about or like anything else. Endgame was fine and had Professor Hulk whose best boy but other then that it wasn't too spectacular. Infinity War I think is overhyped. So yeah uh, not the biggest fan, but also don't hate it, right down the middle for me.

== Verses I Dislike ==
<tabber>
|-|Video Games=<Br>
*'''Ao Oni:''' Now, I know this is one of the granddaddies to the RPG Horror genre we have today and it should be respected for that But for fuck sakes man, this game is awful. There is no tension whatsoever, the monster doesn't look scary, he looks fucking funny, there's barely and story, and the chase music is one of the worst trying to be scary songs I've ever heard. The only interesting aspect about the Oni is that he can chase you to different rooms. That's it.

*'''Bendy & The Ink Machine:''' Yeah this got moved here. After thinking about it more and re-looking through the game, while the concept is very cool, the actual execution isn't really that well thought out. Definitely needed more time in the oven to cook.

*'''Desert Nightmare:''' As much as I love the beginning I also hate it because of the awful ending.

*'''Baldi's:''' Extremely boring horror game that I only ever watched Cory play and that was it. I know it was made as a joke but god man, it's bad.

*'''Bubsy:''' Yeah what a shocker, the universally accepted worse platformer series is in my dislike list? Who would've guessed.

*'''DDLC:''' VNs bore me, DDLC is a VN. See the issue? Also replayability from this game is kind of shot when you play through it and the warning at the beginning of the game quite literally ruins the entire atmosphere lol.

*'''Pokémon:''' Once upon a time I used to really like Pokémon. It wasn't even that long ago actually. Then I played SMT V and Legends Arceus back to back and I just can't get into this series anymore. I still like Colosseum, Gale of Darkness, & Stadium 1/2 though. But other then that, I'm just going to pass on this series future games honestly.

*'''Danganronpa:''' This game bored the hell out of me and the first girl you be friends with in the game I just wanted to die.

*'''Life is Strange:''' The writing in this game is... so bad. The characters are bad, the time rewind mechanic is just dumb and removes all tension for me. Also the two endings you have to pick are so forced. Defo do not recommend this game.

*'''Megami Tensei Spinoffs:''' Asides from the two I mentioned in the like section, I like almost no other Megami Tensei spinoff series. I do not like Strange Journey, I think it's boring and not written well with a boring combat system. I do not like the OG Megami Tensei, I do not like SMT if... Megami Tensei series is legit just a love-hate relationship for me.

*'''Persona:''' Friendly note, if I say "I remember liking" I'm probably going to be moving them into the dislike/neutral territory. So the Persona series I pretty much don't like anymore after playing Like a Dragon a game that I think deals with the social mechanics and party system infinitely better then anything 3-5 could ever do, the story is just more engaging too. I still do like Persona 1 & 2 story wise, but 3-5 I think needs a new writer, probs the person that wrote Soul Hackers 2 and if that person is the persona writer, they need to do what they did for Soul Hackers 2 and put it in persona.

*'''Assassin's Creed:''' Originally liked the series, re-played the series and realized how bad the story is along with the gameplay and camera is. I think the fact that 4 is one of the few pirate games and Origins being an action RPG tricked me.

|-|Manga/Anime=<br>

*'''Dragon Ball:''' Yeah shocked to see myself I put this here, but yeah I do not like Dragon Ball, at all. The only piece of media left from Dragon Ball I genuinely like is The Path to Power and some of its video games. Dragon Ball overall for me is a massive disappointment in media so I guess I should just go over my list of reasons. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6p14DdVw2o I've made an entire video discussing how I don't think Goku realistically is the 'best martial artist'], as Dragon Balls warped idea of martial arts has been for a while just been strong attacks. The peak of skill in the Dragon Ball verse is Ultra Instinct (which they treat as a form for some reason), which is a martial arts skill so many other characters learn and it's handled better cause its not treated as a stat amp form. [https://youtu.be/WFWa7LKbyH4 Then there's the power creep of Dragon Ball], no matter what you try to say or defend for this, it's objectively bad writing. The power creep in Dragon Ball is genuinely bad, no matter if you're talking about OG Dragon Ball, Z, GT, or Super. The power system of Dragon Ball is genuinely uninteresting, everyone's gimmick doesn't really matter since Goku's solution is almost always to just energy blast them or power up and scream or whatever. None of the characters are interesting either, all the villains are essentially the same, the heroes are pretty much irrelevant asides from Goku and every once in a while Gohan and Vegeta. Also one of the characters is a genuine pedophile (Roshi), so yeah... not my cup of tea. Also to note, cause I know how powerscalers are, no I do not have them lower then other sites cause I hate the series. I despise most of SMT and they're 1-A on this site, [[Demi-fiend]] is one of my least favorite characters ever and he's 1-A, so my like or dislike of a series doesn't really affect its tier ever.

*'''Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou:''' I remember everyone hyping up Akuto Sai, then I realized it was vs debaters. Here's a friendly reminder, never listen to them about someone being cool or not because of their tiering cause the manga itself is fucking boring. Maybe the novel is better but man I liked none of the manga.

*'''Choujin Sensen:''' This started off interesting then just fell flat on it's face. I feel like so many things were just rushed and made up on the spot to try and get a forced ending that wasn't really all that good.

*'''Hunter X Hunter''' This is probably the most disappointing anime I've watched and manga I've read. I sat through all of it too, with hopes that it'd just eventually get interesting. Now to be fair, Greed Island is actually pretty decent, but everything else? Boring as hell. Mereum is such an overrated villain and he's just fucking boring. The mafia arc was boring and I like mafias in fiction. The first arc was meh. Gon is just not a thrilling protagonist at all and I never thought I'd watch a series where the main protagonist (Gon) never met the main arcs antagonist (Mereum). I wanted to like HxH so bad too because it had the same general scope One Piece had and it was made by the dude that made YYH, but alas god no, I hate this manga/anime so much and I do not understand where all the hype comes from for it.

*'''Bleach:''' Speaking of me not understanding where all the hype comes from, so the first arc with Ichigo and Rukia, I like, they play off each other well. I even used to like soul society arc but after recently watching it, uh no, no I do not. I think the main issue with Bleach for me is that there's no real long running goal to be met, it's just a string of plots and stuff and no one is really interesting to me. Aizen is at least funny but he's not meant to be, Yhwach I care nothing about, and the only real character designs I like is Rukia and Yoruichi. Also god Chad sucks, don't @ me. Ultimate jobber.

*'''Jojo's Bizzare Adventure:''' I don't know what I was smoking for those who saw this list before I updated it, but I somehow put this verse in neutral, now it goes where it belongs. I do not like JoJo's at all, the dialogue is bad, fights are bland, power system is uninteresting, every protagonist is bland, boring, and I like none of them. The villains are horrible, and on top of it all, there's a pedophile Orangutan. Also there's a scene of a little girl naked in the shower. Araki. What the fuck?

*'''Death Note:''' I like intelligence mangas, so the one thing you can do to make me not like it, is have a main protag that doesn't feel intelligent and feels overly paranoid. That is Light Yagami to a tea, [https://youtu.be/aYLBAyJYIlg shoutout to my friends video in regards to that]. I swear to god I still hold it that Luffy would say his full name to Light and Light would have a paranoid mind debate with himself over how there's no way someone will simply just give out their full name and how he's trying to trick him, [https://youtu.be/1IlQ2_wt8XI kinda like that one scene with Sylvie from Epithet Erased]. Talentless Nana is a better intelligence manga overall, I also like the one-shot and live action Death Note more then the anime/manga.

*'''Sword Art Online:''' So I at first liked this anime when I watched it. Wanna know why? This was before I really understood anime plots beyond stuff as simple as DBZ. Then I watched One Piece, Cowboy Bebop, Soul Eater, and I kind of realized how hot garbage SAO is. This series is just bad man, no other way to put it. I'm sure the writer is a nice guy too people, but I don't really care. I care about the quality of his work, not Reiki. SAO is not quality, it's badly written fanfiction tier writing and every time people tell me the later stuff is better and I watch it, I learn that these people fall under insanity.

|-|Cartoons=<br>

*'''Regular Show:''' I do not like this show. I do not think it's funny. I think Muscle Man needs to die. That's about it.

*'''Johnny Test:''' Asides from the whip crack meme being pretty funny when it was relevant, this show is just plain awful. What's funny is too I'm pretty sure I remember the 4kids version of JT unironically being decent verses when it got on CN. Unless I'm just misremembering which could be possible.

*'''Teen Titans Go:''' So unlike most other people who will go on rants about how it's a stain on the previous show, I'm not even going there, I think the show on it's own, without comparing it to OG TT, is awful. It's boring, the jokes don't land well, every character is a clown which defeats the purpose of a comedy show, since at least one character needs to be the straight man and almost no one is in TTG. The episodes are very uneventful and try the "lolso random" humor which doesn't work, the animation is bad, and yeah no I don't need OG TT to tell you why this show is bad, it's awful on it's own right. Also the movie is overhyped as shit, it's not good at all.

*'''Powerpuff Girls Reboot:''' Just like TTG, I do not need the OG PPG to say why this is bad, the show itself is so boring and uneventful and feels so corporate. This is what happens when you make a lifeless show with no real inspiration. I have heard people say PPG Reboot is worse then TTG, but personally I have it the other way around.

*'''Uncle Grandpa:''' Apparently I heard this is a successor to Chowder. That is fucking disappointing. I'm not even going to do a mini review of this, just know it's awful.

*'''Steven Universe:''' *Snaps Fingers* Ok so I was once a huge SU fan, used to love it. Know why? I only watched 5 episdoes from S1/S2, and they were the plot important ones. Then I went to rewatch the series in full and oh god, this show is so painfully bad. The filler is awful, the characters are grating and annoying. The few good characters are overshadowed by the overall awful presentation. The animation is some of the worse I've seen, and so much more. The only pro I can give this show is that the music is really good, and that's cause Rebecca can make good music. The show had so much potential but god did it fall flat. With Future making everything worse too. I could go on an even longer rant but we'd be here all day.

*'''Hazbin Hotel:''' Remember the epithet erased story? If you don't, just know I used to think this show was pretty alright, now I think it's dogshit. Also watched S1 of the Amazon series, it got worse.

|-|Comics=<br>
*'''Batman The Dark Knight Part 2:''' Literal. fanfiction. tier. writing. Nothing else to be said, do not read this, it's actually awful.

|-|TV Series=<br>
Soon.
|-|Movies=<br>

*'''DC Extended Universe (DCEU):''' Even though some of their movies were pretty decent (referring to Aquaman and Shazam), MoS, BvS, and Justice League are all so bad that I need way better films coming out later for these blights to be gone from my memory. Hate all of them.

*'''Hellboy:''' Don't know how you make 3 bad Hellboy movies in a row, it's like they weren't even trying.

*'''Nintendo series I haven't played:''' I like Nintendo and I want to look at virtually all it has to offer.

*'''Xenogears:''' Want to eventually play this RPG franchise to see what inspired Xenoblade.

(Note: Not every verse cause I can't remember off the top of my head, just because a verse is listed here doesn't mean it's on the wiki, either I haven't gotten to it, or I'm in the midst of incorporating it. Should also be noted that some of these are quite weaker than others in terms of knowledge due to either not viewing them in a long while or I haven't fully completed it)

Introduction

Hello User, I'm one of the owner of the new website The Codex. I will try to get through any question or thread if possible. If you have any questions about the wiki, how to make a character profile, etc. I'd suggest you either pm me, one of the admins/mods, or look at the main page.

My top 1000 favorite video game list, massively WIP.

Favorite Characters of All Time

Before starting this list, I just need to note the very simple things that get me to instantly vibe with a character.

-They're a detective
-They use guns to fight against supernatural creatures
-They have an animal familiar (preferably a cat)
-They are able to fend for themselves
-They have some interesting thing to do with religion.
-Skilled supernatural hunter.
-Mafioso guy.

  • 1. Raidou Kuzunoha XIV: Oh boy. So before learning about this character I barely knew anything about the Shin Megami Tensei series and was never really interested in it. Then one day someone went to play Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha and I saw some gameplay and was like "Whoa that's pretty cool, I need to check this out." That's when I proceeded to watch a let's play of it and hearing that opening, jesus. it filled me with nostalgia of a lot of my favorite series as a kid, then the actual character comes in and he's just so suave and cool.
  • 2. Marty McFly: As a kid and even today my favorite live action movie franchise of all time is the Back to the Future franchise.
  • 3. Monkey D. Luffy: Man where do I start.
  • 4. Takayuki Yagami: His introduction scene is great, a smart ex-lawyer whose also also a detective with a cool fighting style. Yagami is overall a chill dude that's hilarious to see his interactions with people and has a cool backstory for why he's no longer a lawyer. The Yagami detective agency falls in my second favorite fictional detective agency.
  • 5. Jack Sparrow: To be more specific here, I'm talking only Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow, no random novel or anything like that.
  • 6. Ichiban Kasuga: Ichiban Kasuga is a very interesting character, apart of the japanese version of the Mafia, the Yakuza, where he grew up around all of the "low lives", showing how good the lower people of society really are and how much propaganda is surrounded by it. He's a very sympathetic character too due to how shitty of a life he has, viewing reality as Dragon Quest because he wants to be a hero. Dude is extremely chill and nice to add onto the symapthy and just a genuine good person at the end of the day.
  • 7. Tanya von Degurechaff: I've heard about Youjo Senki and Tanya a couple of times but I was turned off because I was lied to about her being a "loli hitler", Tanya is not that but rather a logical sociopath with a very understandable motivation.
  • 8. Link: Originally it was just Majora's Mask Link but thinking about it harder I pretty much like MM Link, WW Link, TP Link, SS Link, ST Link, and BoTW Link all about the same.
  • 9. Reborn: Reborn is pretty much the reason why I even continued to watch Hitman Reborn past its first arc. Badass.
  • 11. Serph: Serph is an example of a silent protagonist done right for me, he doesn't say anything but you can tell from his actions and reactions what he thinks and feels. The point of him is meant to be an emotionless soldier slowly gaining emotions and he just starts becoming cooler as the game progresses as he gets more emotions. I think this scene from the opening of the second game perfectly shows how cool he is in fighting too. He's stoic but also a cool leader that cares deeply for his team. Oh also he uses guns.
  • 12. Giovanni Potage: At first when I saw him in Epithet Erased I didn't really like him, thought he was going to be the generic Saturday morning cartoon villain (which ironically enough was what my fist thought of Papyrus was), and then Jello proceeds to go "yeah" and make Giovanni one of the most chill characters in the series. He's an idiot but a lovable one, he's also ironically the nicest character in the verse when he's both a villain and a bully. He has a sick ass theme. Dude's just overall great.
  • 13. Stephen: Listen man, dude got injured by a demon paralyzing him and he still sits there giving you the most slick and smug smile in that wheelchair. Stephen's an interesting enigma in the fact that he's barely present but the few scenes I see im in are always great. His messages resonate pretty well, along with his belief in humanity's potential. Overall, cool and chill dude.
  • 14. Hajime Nagumo: Hajime is a character I describe as "edgy done right".
  • 15. Gabriel Van Helsing: Gabriel is a badass monster hunter who uses guns.

Favorite Wives

Favorite Villains

*1. David Xanatos: David Xanatos is just the perfect villain. I have never seen a kids tv show able to show a villain as terrifying and that no matter how many times the heroes actually beat them, they still end up winning. His very name is now a fucking trope at that. Xanatos is smartly written, greatly voiced, and gives a great and intimidating presence every time he's on screen.

  • 2. Doflamingo: Really great catalyst to Luffy's world view, empathetic backstory that isn't too sympathetic, really great power set that is both OP and not too Op that his loss is BS.
  • 3. Porky Minch: Dude is the literal perfect thing for a villain, completely evil and you hate every second of him.
  • 4. Ganondorf: Great intimidating villain, I have yet to see any other villains in the zelda series top him, my favorite portrayals of him are most def Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
  • 5. Doofenshmirtz: A villain so great he's almost not even a villain (almost). Great dad and hilarious dude, one of the best parts of Phineas and Ferb.
  • 6. Dr. Facilier: My fav disney movies villain dude has the songs and steals the show with any of his scenes.
  • 7. Giygas: Giygas turns from a super powerful mewtwo like alien to a full on eldritch abomination, love how the way you beat him isn't through sheer strength but either inflicting him with literal guilt or the positive prayers of everyone. The only reason he's so low is that he realistically only has around 2-3 scenes of actual presence.
  • 8. Lavos: Lavos is basically a lovecraftian eldritch monster that is such an intimidating presence and is such a great catalyst for a horror monster, every scene he's in fills you with dread and you're not even sure if you can't beat him and you're the one playing the game. My only real gripe is the writers clearly made him way too powerful for the plot and had to make literal macguffin's as an excuse to why the cast beats him.
  • 9. Magus: Magus is Piccolo done far better imo, great music, great introduction to his boss fight, great motivation, and it's cool you get him as a party member.
  • 10. Majora: Majora's an interesting villain as his core reason for doing everything is cause it's a literal game to him making.
  • 11. Green Goblin: I like Norman regardless of the continuity even when Ultimates made him some retarded ass adaption type dude. My favorite Norman obviously being Sam Raimi's.
  • 12. Hades (Disney): James Wood's Hades is just perfect, funny, evil, and all of that. There's not much more I can say other then that.

Verses I Like

  • A Hat in Time: Easily my favorite 3D platformer of all time, it's such a unique, adorable, and fun platformer, the controls feel just right, and the physics just add it up. This was just my experience from the switch version too. The minute I got it on steam I learned how infinitely replayable this game is thanks to mods.
  • Cris Tales: An RPG that takes a lot of elements from some of my favorite RPGs to make an interesting and engaging world.
  • Run: One of my childhood games I used to play all the time at the school library and still play today. Run is such an engaging and fun platforming game with unique alien designs and different abilities to keep up the pace. It's hard for me to decide whether I like Run 2 or Run 3 better but I think all games in this collection hold up. Defo recommend.
  • Xenoblade Chronicles: Despite how annoying XC 1 elitists are on twitter and me not playing it in a while, I absolutely love and adore Xenoblade Chronicles 1, it's easily in my favorite games of all time.
  • Hollow Knight: While I think it's overhyped as a metroidvania personally, that does not at all mean it's bad, Hollow Knight is a masterpiece of a metroidvania, and a game that I spent over 100 hours on.
  • Sly Cooper: Old Sucker Punch mascot 3D platformer along with Ratchet and Clank/Jak & Daxter? All that needs to be said. Seriously though, this is a fun platformer that I have not played in a long while.
  • Metal Gear Solid: This series taught me that you can have a game mainly focus on story and still have it be amazing. But to add the cherry on top, you have great stealth gameplay that makes me hate almost every other stealth segment in most other games.
  • Furi: Furi is a fun and action-packed boss rush with an intriguing story and a badass silent MC. Not much I can say.
  • EarthBound/MOTHER: This series used to be my favorite game of all time, before a certain game toppled it, however that does not detract from the fact that EarthBound/MOTHER is one of the best RPG franchise I have ever played, with unique and quirky characters, a fun narrative, interesting combat mechanics, and much much more. I recommend everyone to play this, as my friend Rocky would say, "People actually like EarthBound? I thought that was a joke."
  • Undertale: While not as good as I initially had it, this is still a very fun and great RPG with loads of quirky characters and a great story. I only wish the replayability was better because this is a game that sells on that.
  • Deltarune: Chapter 1 was alright, though nothing special. Then Chapter 2 hit, and I realized how much I wanted from Undertale. Chapter 2 easily beat Undertale alone for me and I am so excited to see what more they have to offer.
  • Kingdom Hearts: I have a love hate relationship with KH, mainly, I love the Tokyo Team (the guys that made Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2) and hate the Okasa Team (the guys that made BBS, DDS, 0.2, and Kingdom Hearts 3).
  • Legend of Zelda: Zelda is one of my favorite verses of all time, big shocker, I know.
  • The Strange Man Series: My second favorite RPG Horror series of all time, this is just a fantastic tetralogy that deals with the horrors of learning to overcome a specific problem in your life along with the occasional horror movie monster.
  • Desert Nightmare: Let me start off with saying, this game has one of the best atmospheres and OSTs I've heard in a horror game, and I know a majority of it might be stolen OSTs cause a lot of RPG Horrors do that, but god man, it's so good and fits so well.
  • Celeste: Celeste is a beautiful 2D pixelated art style with tight controls and fun platforming challenges. It's a really fun game and one I highly recommend to people who are fans of the Super Meatboy esque games.
  • Downwell: This is a fun little indie game I played on the PlayStation and couldn't put down, not much else to say other then it's fun.
  • Fire Emblem: This is mainly just in reference to Awakening, but god it was just a fun tactical RPG game, with a fun story, interesting characters, and nice comedy from time to time.
  • Metroid: It's normally hard for me to choose which I like more between Metroid and Zelda because this is just such a fantastic series.
  • Kirby: So at first I was just the regular Kirby fan, I liked the games but wasn't crazy about them, asides from Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards, but after Forgotten Land came out, I realized just how great this series is, Kirby is such a cute and simple character and it's cleverly juxtaposed with the world he's in, a nice and friendly world with Lovecraftian entities and evil people with some nice sob backstories to make you feel for them. Great series overall, but I hope they continue with the Forgotten Land gameplay for Kirby.
  • Mario: Yeah no shit I like Mario, very few people don't lol.
  • Chrono Trigger: One of the best RPGs I've ever played, consistent quality all the way through, fantastic soundtrack, great battle mechanics, and an amazing story. I love it.
  • Clock of Atonement: A great little phone RPG Horror like game that tells a sad tale where a guy with a clock can't get his happy ending.
  • Five Nights At Freddy's: As much as the series has been bloated, I still do overall like this series for the most part. With FNAF 1, 2, and 4 I still consider pretty good games, and Security Breach I love the story for. Most of the other games I'm either okay with or don't like.
  • Five Nights At Candy's: A fan-game of FNAF that's so good I unironically like it more then the actual FNAF, I like the concept behind it and the 3rd game introduces RPG Horror gameplay, so it knew how to grab me, it also has sweet old jazzy music and I like the HUD of FNAC 1 more then FNAF 1. FNAC 2 was kinda lame though, hope FNAC 4 is good.
  • Terranigma: A fantastic action RPG on the SNES. What more can I say? My favorite genre is action RPGs.
  • Mega Man: I like a lot of the classic games, the X series, and love Legends. Planning on playing the others eventually.
  • Hitman: Love the stealth + assassin gameplay to it. Not much else to say honestly.
  • Mortal Kombat: Not really a 2D fighter fan but Mortal Kombat has always stood out for me, my favorite is Mortal Kombat 9, though story wise there's a lot of stuff I don't like, doesn't stop from the fun gameplay with gorey deaths though.
  • Lisa: A fun quirky RPG with a serious undertone, it's also a very emotional story under all the silliness too, gives me a lot of EarthBound vibes.
  • OFF: OFF is a really interesting RPG game, it's meta without pulling you out of the game experience and just interesting to sit down and play through. Easily one of my favorite indie RPGs, I might like this even more then Undertale honestly.
  • Suits: Suits is another really quirky RPG that has The Batter in it, which makes it even more cool.
  • Infamous: Sucker Punch's game after Sly Cooper with the morality system and powers was really cool, did not like Second Son though.
  • Minecraft: Minecraft is one of the most replayable games ever made, specifically when playing with friends. Playing Minecraft with friends is so much fun it's basically killed single player MC for me.
  • Carmen Sandiego: Carmen Sandiego was a fun edutainment game back in the days that I grew up with so naturally with this, the cartoon, and the Netflix series I gravitated towards liking this series.
  • Super Smash Bros.: Not as fond of Smash as I used to be, mainly because I grew out of fighting games, but Smash is still a hectic and fun game to play with friends all the same. My favorite being Brawl and my least favorite being Melee.
  • Ape Escape: Fun little old PlayStation 3D platformer, not much else to say about this.
  • Asura's Wrath: Love the story, music, and the climatic boss battles.
  • God of War: Asura's Wrath's reasons and more, the added on gore definitely sold me when I was a kid.
  • Cave Story: I think this is the first indie game I've ever played and it still stays as one of my favorites. Such a fun platforming metroidvania with an interesting story, characters, and gameplay. I've played this game now about 50+ times.
  • Cuphead: The animation alone sells this game for me, but then there's a fun as hell run and gun behind that.
  • Dead Rising: In a mall where I can use virtually anything to kill a bunch of zombies for fun? Sign me up. 3 is also pretty good. 4 is awful.
  • Freedom Planet: This is literally just good Sonic, not much more to say. Though the voice acting is bad.
  • Grand Theft Auto: Care nothing about the 2D universe, the 3D universe is where it's at.
  • Ib: This is straight up my favorite RPG Horror game, it has such a unique atmosphere with the horror setting being an art museum allowing for abstract horror, an amazing OST, and great characters. My only real gripe is I'm not too happy with the ending, but I feel like that was the intention.
  • Mad Father: Another amazing RPG Horror. Great visuals, great story, great characters, cool horror setting, what more can I say? The remake on switch amps everything up too. P.S. Aya isn't evil for the love of god.
  • Walking Dead: I like Telltale season 1 and 2, do not like season 3 and love season 4. Clementine is an all time great and I like Lee.
  • No More Heroes: Fun hack and slash with a cool as hell funny character. Nothing more I can say beyond that. I hate Travis Strikes again though.
  • Paladins: This is a fun enough Overwatch replacement.
  • Town of Salem: Among Us but good, yeah I said it. Though the community is just as stupid and toxic.
  • Silent Hill: I'm pretty sure this and Clock Tower inspired RPG Horrors, especially since every RPG Horror I've watched almost always has Silent Hill music in the game. I like RPG Horrors, so by proxy I also like Silent Hill.
  • Clock Tower: Straight up the granddaddy of horror games and one of the inspiriations for RPG Horrors I bet. While the game doesn't hold up as well today I think the playstation version is still really good and fun.
  • Soul Calibur: Fun 3D fighting game. Specifically Soul Calibur 2 cause it has Link in it.
  • Uncharted: Basically just Indiana Jones turned into a video game and I love it.
  • Okami: Zelda but with a wolf, what more do I have to say?
  • Wii Sports: I grew up playing the hell out of this game on my wii, such a fun sports game.
  • Final Fantasy: Funny cause I haven't played that many FF games. I enjoy FF8 despite it's many issues, I don't like FF7, I like FF Tactics Advance, and I'm planning on replaying FFX and FFXIII sometime in the future.
  • Pikmin: Probably the only real time strategy game I care about.
  • F-Zero: F-Zero GX is great and a fun racing game. F-Zero on the SNES doesn't have a 2 player mode which defeats the entire purpose of a racing game. Don't remember much about F-Zero X.
  • Starfy: Starfy is a game made by the same people that made Kirby apparently, and it's a pretty fun aquatic platforming game. The platforming kind of hampers when you're out of the water, but when you're in the water it's actually really fun. Probably the only game where I prefer water levels to ground levels. Not much to say for the story or characters since barely any of it is translated.
  • Shantae: Great platformer/metroidvania series with a cute half-genie, responsive controls, and great exploration. Overall it's an A+.
  • Devil Summoner: So this basically has to be my favorite franchise of all time purely because it has the Raidou Kuzunoha series.
  • Shin Megami Tensei: This is a weird one because I basically hate the first 3 games but like the last 3 of the mainline SMT series. Not even my favorite character, Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, being in this game is enough to save it, I just dislike this game, especially after playing SMT V.
  • Megami Tensei Spinoffs: Ok so mainly this is Devil Survivor and Digital Devil Saga I'm talking about, both of those are great games and they should get more recognition.
  • Yakuza/Judge Eyes: I have thus gotten into it and I can say this is already breeching into my top 10 game series, amazing visuals, great combat, great music, great characters, great stories, this is just all around a banger. There are some bad games in this series but the good ones far out shadow them. I'd recommend this series to anyone interested in action games. It's also a mini-game collection that's somehow good.

  • Sailor Moon: Turned out I liked this manga a lot. Well written manga with a pretty neat protagonist. I'd go more into detail but I'm writing this pretty late, maybe I'll update this at some point.
  • Tenkuu Shinpan: A great horror manga that turns rapidly supernatural near the end.
  • Noragami: Cool supernatural series about gods and ghosts. One of my favorites.
  • Hungry Joker: This was a cool manga series based off special powers and stuff, nothing much else to say, sucks that it got canceled.
  • Parasyte: This is another supernatural manga that takes a philosophical approach to things, it's very interesting and a great watch/read.
  • One Piece: My favorite anime of all time and apart of my favorite things of all time, One Piece is such a great epic of journey, an amazing philosophical goal anyone can relate to and over hundreds of interesting characters and locals. May be mainstream, but it's amazing.
  • Grenadier: Another classic manga with an adorable main protagonists that's as fun as she is hot.
  • Witch Hunter: Another great manga that easily became one of my favorites.
  • Instant Death: One of the few isekais I'm interested in cause of the twist it brings.
  • Big Order: From what I remember of this cause I haven't read it in forever, I liked it a lot.
  • Mysterious Life of Saiki K: Great comedy manga with a cool cast and a great main protagonist.
  • One Punch Man: Despite what most people will try to say about this series, any claim that it's bad/bland because "the main character is OP" misses the entire point of the manga/anime and they should actually watch/read it before saying that. OPM is a great re-contextualization of the Shonen genre with great characters and a good moral lesson hidden beneath it. Also Saitama is actually chill so calm down you fucks.
  • Overlord: One of the few isekais I'm interested in, but I haven't read it in forever cause chapters take forever to update.
  • Petals of Reincarnation: Haven't finished this but I remember liking what I read, but from what a friend of mine told me it gets worse, so uh oh.
  • Ajin: Found out it was made by the same creator as Tenkuu Shinpan which was cool. Ajin itself I'd say is the weaker of the two stories but it's still a pretty cool manga all together.
  • Hitman Reborn: While I dislike regular Tsuna when he isn't in Dying Will, Reborn straight up steals the show for this series and all the other characters are great, along with a fun plot. Also, it has mafia stuff in it, one of my 4 favorite story elements to add into a story, so yeah.
  • Fox Spirit Matchmaker: From what I see I think the anime came out first cause the manga from the site I read it on only had like 6 chapters, but it follows the anime for the most part which I liked so yeah.
  • Mikizami Verse (Spirit Circle, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, & a couple of his others): Mikizami writes shit that is depressing but also fun and engaging. A really interesting read which each of his works, my favorite so far being Spirit Circle.
  • Beserk: Really great gorey fantasy manga series and Guts is such a badass.
  • Inuyasha: So would this technically count as an isekai? I dunno. Regardless, Inuyasha is a classic and a jam.
  • The Devil is a Part-Timer: I both read the manga and watched the anime for this, both are great and we're finally getting an S2 so les go.
  • Soul Eater: One of my favorite manga/animes, has cool ass characters, great fights, and more.
  • Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism: It's a show about a literal chad not allowing himself to lose his freedom. All I needed to hear. I want a S2 so bad for the anime.
  • Chainsaw Man: Love this manga so much, along with the art style, really cool, slick, and dirty. Just my style.
  • D.Gray-Man: I've read some of it and already liked what I read from that.
  • Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu: Normally for isekais to interest me, I need some kind of twist to it. For this, the MC puts on a farce that he's this badasss demon lord but he's actually a scared as shit guy on the inside, makes for hilarious encounters and an enjoyable enough read due to that.
  • Medaka Box: Medaka Box is a fun read with an interesting power system that's clearly meant to follow the Shonen thing of overpowered abilities and it's funny but also engaging.
  • Mob Psycho 100: The other golden child of ONE, Mob Psycho is usually in constant argument of whether this is better or OPM, personally I'm more of a OPM guy, but that does not stop Mob Psycho 100 from being great and amazing.
  • The Strongest Girl: I can't find a site to read it anymore sadly but from what I read it was a cute little slice of life with some hilarious comedy.
  • Yu Yu Hakusho: One of the all time classics and GOATs, do not understand how this dude went from this to Hunter X Hunter.
  • Ao Oni: While I hate the game, the anime is actually a funny watch that constantly makes fun of how stupid the game is, I'm all for that.
  • Kirby Right Back At Ya!: Despite it having a 4kids dub, it still turned out to be pretty good, and a fun watch. Good job on this one 4kids.
  • Bakugan: This is more so of a guilty pleasure then legitimately liking it. Like this show is full of generic Saturday morning anime shit but it's still a nostalgic field trip that's fun to watch.
  • Kakegurui: A gambling anime/manga with a mentally insane protag that gets off to gambling anything. Now this is my kind of anime/manga.
  • Wakfu: Technically it's not an anime and more so an animated series but I digress. Asides from the awful English dub, Wakfu is a pretty fun series with great villains and a cool cast of characters, my favorite being Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove. It also has a really good relationship written in it. So yeah, great show.
  • Durarara!!: This show/manga will show you all around the city with stylized different scenes and great characters all around. This show will also throw twist after twist on you making it even more exciting to watch.
  • Erased/The Town With No Name: Both the manga and anime have different endings, and even though a lot of people don't like the anime ending, I personally don't mind it. Erased is a great murder mystery series even if I kind of figured out the killer by the 4th episode. With an interesting supernatural ability, great characters, and tragic moments, this is definitely a keeper.
  • Case Closed: So I haven't finished this series and probably never will cause the only other series I will devote 1000+ episodes/chapters to is One Piece, Hajime no Ippo, and Professional Wrestling. But Case Closed is about a detective that solves detective cases, all I needed to know to get hooked on this.
  • Devilman Crybaby: Hated the ending but overall a really good series with great visuals and cool animation.
  • Mirrai Nikki: This is another guilty pleasure, like the anime/manga is just straight up awful but it's a so bad it's good for me. Though I hate Yuuto with every fiber of my being.
  • Beelzebub: If only this didn't get cancelled, it was such a fun show to watch but of course it got canned so it's full potential will never be realized nor seen now.
  • Gintama: So I was expecting when coming into this anime to watch primarily a comedy show, but there are so many well written feel scenes in this show along with great action and comedy that this is an all time GOAT for me. I also just love Gintoki.
  • Hayate the Combat Butler: Haven't watched it in a while but it was a fun comedy butler series.
  • Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: So if I take this as an action anime meant to be taken seriously, it falls flat pretty instantly. If I take this as a comedy, harem anime (which it just fucking is) this show is great.
  • Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt: Two hot girls that parody anime the show, all I needed.
  • Wolfs Rain: It's been forever since I've watched this but it's made by the same creator of the Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Space Dandy. How the hell am I not going to like this?
  • Cowboy Bebop: This is easily one of my favorite animes ever created, it's distinctive sound, style, and grace, Spike is one of the GOATS, and the cast is overall great. I don't think there's a single episode of the anime that bores me either from what I remember.
  • Samurai Champloo: It's made by the same creator of Space Dandy, like what more do you need then that? But the show alone is great still, great characters, amazing samurai sword fights, and a really well done ending.
  • Space Dandy: So made by the creator of Cowboy Bebop, has a GOAT protagonist, has great music, has great animation, and has great stories? Yeah no, easily an S tier anime.
  • God of Highschool: While I haven't watched it in a while, when I initially watched it, I liked it a whole lot. Gave me old school Dragon Ball vibes.
  • Kill La Kill: Loved everything of what I watched with this anime. Really good, fast and frantic. Studio Trigger has some amazing animation too.

  • Star Vs. The Forces of Evil: This is one of my favorite cartoons of all time.
  • The Owl House: Another pretty cool calarts show, it suffers from the issue I mentioned above for season 1 but from what I watched of season 2 they're slowly fixing that. With how short season 3 is going to be this probably means there will be next to no filler, so there's that.
  • Danny Phantom: This is literally just Spider-Man if he was a ghost and I love everything of it, even S3 which most people think kind of fell flat I liked a lot, though I will agree the ending was kind of lame.
  • Pucca Funny Love: Many people take a look of clips of this series and ask why do I like it.
  • Ed Edd n Eddy: This is my favorite cartoon series of all time.
  • Boondocks: One of my favorite cartoon intros of all time to the point that I use it as my phone ring tone, great writing, hilarious characters, and lots of deep interesting subtext that you could blink and miss. A lot of these episodes you can rewatch 5 times over and learn hundreds of different lessons the episodes are trying to show you, asides from S4 where the creator left. Excited as hell for season 5.
  • Invader Zim: The fact that this only had 2 seasons is a crime. This is a great comedy show with interesting worldbuilding and great action scenes. Mind you this show was made by someone that originally drew graphic adult comics, so just goes to show you.
  • Amazing World of Gumball: I think this is one of the only modern day cartoon network shows I genuinely like. Great comedy all around, somehow gets me to laugh out loud.
  • Ben 10: Now unlike most other people, I like Alien Force more then the original series, but I still love the original series. Ultimate Alien is pretty cool. Do not care for omniverse at all.
  • Samurai Jack: Banger intro, great action, great animation, great villain, great characters this is a true classic in every way.
  • Powerpuff Girls: A show where even as a kid you wouldn't be made fun of by guys for watching it, cause they knew damn well they watched it too. Great show with great violence and action. I think this was most kids introductions to subversions, the show on the surface looks like a cutesy girly show but then you see Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are all actually badass superheroes.
  • Rick and Morty: I've recently fully watched through it and god did I love it. The show is hilarious, interesting, and engaging. Rick Sanchez is one of the most interesting cartoon characters I've ever seen, with the most confusing morality at that.
  • Courage the Cowardly Dog: An all time classic that everyone needs to watch at some point. I love Courage, the show and the character. The name at first seems to be a joke because he's a coward but then you see that he's the bravest character in the show, willing to do anything to save his family. This is truly a good boy.
  • Legends Quest/La Leyenda: Random series I found on Netflix and it was a pretty entertaining watch.
  • Infinity Train: Watched through S1 so far and remembered liking it, but I haven't watched it in a while.
  • Total Drama Island: Mainly the first one and the sequel series, the other ones I don't really like.
  • Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy: My introduction to dark humor, and a great introduction at that, such a fun and great watch.
  • Codename KND: As a kid, I genuinely wanted to join a KND, too bad I was too old. Yeah that's totally the reason.
  • Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: I want to fuck Franki- I mean the show is great, yeah.
  • Generator Rex: Haven't watched it in a while but remember liking it as much as I liked Ben 10 Alien Force.
  • Teen Titans: This is I think my introduction to superhero cartoons, this or TAS Spider-Man, don't remember for sure. Both are great and this show is so cool with it's anime artstyle, great characters, villains, songs, and action. An overall S tier show.
  • Ninjago: Only really remember earlier seasons but I liked it a lot.
  • DCAU: I think I like virtually ever show from the DCAU. Static Shock being my favorite, Batman Beyond being tied with TAS Superman, and TAS Batman which speaks for itself. Also of course the Justice League cartoons which are all amazing. Basically if you want to see why people like DC Comics, you watch these cartoons.
  • Dexter's Laboratory: Now crazily enough I don't remember much of this series since it's been forever since I watched it, but from what I do remember I like what I remember a lot.
  • Hilda: This was a great adventure series that kind of reminded me of Gravity Falls in a way. Great visuals, music, and settings. Hilda is also just adorable.
  • Puss in Boots: I don't know why I like this or how I like this, but hey. it's pretty alright.
  • Carmen Sandiego: Both the 2019 Netflix Series & Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego are great watches.
  • Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: This is like Dexter's Laboratory but I like it more. That's about all I can say, this show is great, watch it.
  • Epithet Erased: So for some context I originally watched Hazbin Hotel and thought "Wow this is pretty good animation, the writing is eh, but I doubt interenet series can do much anyways." Then I saw Epithet Erased and went "wow Hazbin Hotel sucks".
  • Avatar the Last Airbender: Many people argue this is one of the best animated cartoons ever and they wouldn't be wrong. Avatar is a jam and a half, great characters, comedy, aciton, story, and a very compelling villain in Zuko. The fire lord and Azula are also really cool. The absolute GOAT of course, being Uncle Iroh.
  • Code Lyoko: Theme song for this slaps. The 3D animation is kind of shaky and their foreheads are way too large but overall it's a fun kid series with a lot of fun loops to go through.
  • Looney Toons: Wacky shorts with a bunch of great and funny characters? Enough said.
  • Tom and Jerry: Probably one of the best animated slapstick duos ever, specifically the original series. You know the Tom and Jerry cartoon is good when Tom has the correct scream.
  • Wander Over Yander: Pretty fun theme song, and a pretty cool show.
  • Phineas and Ferb: I wondered for so long how this writing was so clever and I came to learn the writer and creator of this series wrote some of the old season Spongebob episodes, now that makes sense.
  • Spongebob Squarepants: For note this is mainly in regards to season 1-3, there are some gems hidden under a mountain of bad in future season Spongebob episodes, like the crane episode, but overall OG S1-S3 Spongebob is one of the best written comedy shows around. The jokes are so clever and witty, the characters connect so well, and the movie was a blast. This would probably be my second favorite cartoon of all time if it wasn't for Season 4 and on.
  • Chowder: God this is such a great and funny show. Like I don't even know what else to say, the show is fucking hilarious, go check it out.
  • El Tigre: A great nickelodeon series that deserves a third season. Manny's neutral concept throughout the show is interesting and the show is overall pretty funny with a great cast of characters and villains. Also Zim's VA is in this show so.

  • Spider-Man: Spider-Man comics can always be hit or miss because Marvel has so many writers and rarely any of them are good. But god man when you get that peak Spider-Man comic it almost washes out all of the bad stuff. Spider-Man is just such an interesting superhero that's relatable and in my top 3 favorite superheroes of all time, the others being Hellboy and Daredevil.
  • Boondocks: I've read the original comic strips of the Boondocks and they're just as hilarious and cleverly written as the show, go figure.
  • Invader Zim: I binged through the entire Invader Zim comics within a day, they're great, amazing even.
  • Archie Comics: Archie comics will always be a nostalgic memory to me, my favorite character is Jughead. Though I also really love the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series, specifically the 90s and 70s continuity. They're such funnny and light hearted stories. I do want to give chilling adventures of Sabrina a shot some day though.
  • Hellboy: A paranormal detective that's also a demon that uses a gun and a giant right arm but is also a nice guy? Why do the movies not make this work?
  • Ghost: She and Hellboy had a crossover so naturally I read her series and it's pretty good.
  • Garfield: Love me some Garfield, funny cat.

  • Big Bang Theory: I know a lot of people don't like this, but I have so much nostalgic memories of watching this series with my mom + I think it's still pretty funny today.
  • The Order: I need to rewatch this series again so I can watch season 2. Was a pretty good supernatural show.
  • Twilight Zone: All time classic series with a cool narrator and great mini-stories. I don't really like the newer one but I digress.
  • Stranger Things: I seriously need to catch up with this, it's so fucking good.
  • Lucifer: I need to watch S5 I love this series so much.
  • Sherlock: I love what I watched of this, but I'm scared cause a lot of people said the ending was bad.
  • The New Legends of Monkey King: Haven't watched this in a long while but I remember liking it.
  • Walking Dead: To preface, up to like, season 6 I think. Afterwards I stopped caring about this series. Season 2 is also pretty dumb.

  • Star Wars: Only the original trilogy, it's such a great trilogy that I don't need to be reminded of the prequel trilogy. Madalorian and Jefi Fallen Order also brought me back into Star Wars after I was pretty much done with the franchise after so much bad stuff. Also Battlefront 2 2006 is the best war shooting game, don't @ me.
  • Bruce Almighty: Hilarious ass movie with a great message underneath. Morgan Freeman as god is perfect and Jim Carey plays such a hilarious roll.
  • Princess and the Frog (One with Dr. Facilier): I think this is just my favorite Disney Animated movie without counting Pixar. Also has one of my favorite villains of all time, Dr. Facilier.
  • Coraline: Amazing art style with this movie and such a cool concept with the Other World. It's a horrifying kids movie and it works so well.
  • The Incredibles: Easy S tier Pixar movie that's as much of a superhero movie as it is a family movie. God it's so good.
  • Toy Story: This is the only series I've seen to have four movies and all of them be S tier movies. How the hell did that happen?
  • Cars: God Cars is such a good duology. Though it's weird how there's only Cars and Cars 3. I guess cause Cars 3 has 3 cars as the main focal point.
  • Monsters Inc.: Another S tier Pixar series. Unlike a lot of other people I think Monsters University is an S tier movie too. Both of these movies are so good and bring us into the interesting monster world. Monsters at Work though? Awful. The only good parts about it is when Sully and Mike are on screen for me.
  • A Bugs Life: I sometimes kind of forget this movie exists, it's not bad, it's actually really good, but it's one of the more forgettable Pixar movies due to the movies it was around during the time.
  • Finding Nemo: Great, amazing movie. Finding Dory is pretty good too.
  • Ratatouille: While it's one of the weaker Pixar movies for me mainly because of a filler sub-plot with the rat family that I really don't care about, the main plot is so entertaining and enjoyable and it has cooking which is always great.
  • Inside Out: Great modern Pixar movie with a really good lesson and an interesting premise with the world of emotions in your head. Great movie overall.
  • Onward: This is kind of like A Bugs Life for me, it's a great movie, don't get it twisted, but I forget it exists half the time honestly, again I think this is because I watched it around the same time I watched Soul.
  • Luca: I feel so bad for Luca that it was the movie I watched right after Soul. Literally no expectation could be lived up to by that point. But that doesn't make this movie bad by any means, it's still a great pixar film all together.
  • Up: This movie has one of the best opening 5 minutes to any movie ever, and it's without any voice acting whatsoever. Then they somehow made a godlike TV mini series adapatation with Dug Days, that show is so good and it's shocking.
  • Wall-E: Used to be my favorite Pixar movie of all time before Soul happened. Wall-E has like no filler and is just a great entertaining watch all the way through, and it manages to do this with barely and voice acting.
  • Soul: Easily my top 1 favorite Pixar movie of all time. Has such a great message and fantastic visuals, one of the few movies to legitimately make me cry.
  • Coco: Another Pixar movie that legitimately made me cry, it's such a great movie with an interesting premise of an afterlife, similar to how soul tackles it.
  • The Book of Life: Made by the same dude who made El Tigre and it shows, his comedic writing and timing is there all the way, I always think of this when I think of Coco and vice versa, they're very similar in concept but very different and distinct in execution. I recommend both of them.
  • The Matrix: I like the first movie a lot. I kind of like Reloaded mainly for it's action scenes. Revolution bored me.
  • Harry Potter: I like the first 3 films a lot, the rest aren't really for me honestly.
  • Lilo & Stitch: Great Disney movie series.

Verses I'm Neutral Towards

  • Sonic: Sonic is literally the definition of hit or miss for me.
  • Castlevania: There's only two games of note I really care about in the series, Super Castlevania IV and Symphony of the Night. I like none of the NES games and don't really care about the later Metroidvania games.
  • Bravely Series: So the voice acting is bad, and the combat can get repetitive. But the combat can also be interesting with the brave mechanic and Magnolia is great.
  • Dark Cloud: Don't really like the dungeon crawling aspects of the game + the boss fights in the first game are literal rhythm games... why?
  • Dead By Daylight: This is a game that's solidified as a "I'll play if friends want to play, otherwise nah".
  • Shovel Knight: Haven't really cared for it like others have, it looks alright but meh.

  • Darwin's Game: I liked the first half of the manga all before the dude went edgy and the series just tanked by that point for me.
  • The Isolator: I liked the manga overall, just don't like how short it was and how the manga was just a huge advertisement to read the LN.
  • D.I.C.E.: So this series started out pretty strong, then it gradually got more and more boring as time went on, shame too, I was interested somewhat by the concept.
  • Sonic X: On one hand, childhood nostalgia, on the other, the first arc is a bunch of boring filler episodes and by the time we get to the second arc and get to the adventure stuff it's kinda settled in like 2-3 episodes? I'm confused. Also Chris Thorndyke is like the worst living character ever made. The chick in the wheelchair that Sonic was with for an episode should've been his human pal in the series, it's literally a perfect dynamic. A guy that loves running and freedom meets a girl restricted by a wheelchair and shows her freedom in another way. How the hell did the writers miss that?
  • Vampire Knight: I barely even remember it so I have no real opinion.
  • Blue Exorcist: I was somewhat interested for the first 15 episodes then got bored.
  • Naruto: Part 1 is pretty good and cool. Part 2 is awful. War Arc is awful. The new series Boruto is beyond awful.
  • Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: I barely remember this beyond that they randomly rushed the ending. Uhhh ok then?
  • K: This was an anime that just felt way too rushed. The ending comes out of nowhere.
  • B: Barely remember this so can't give a real opinion.
  • Deadman Wonderland: Some things interested me, like the prison aspect of the series, but beyond that and it's ending which apparently it's never getting a second season, it was only really alright for me.

  • Amphibia: I was initially interested with it's premise and stuff, especially when the S2 finale hit. But jesus man, this show is filled with useless filler that gets nothing done. Also the series finale was so formulaic and boring that I'm lost on how anyone praised it. Definitely the weaker of the modern cal arts shows.
  • Gravity Falls: I'm gonna try to re-watch this but initially it was only alright for me and nothing amazing. But this was before Bill was introduced, so.
  • Adventure Time: Adventure Time is such a weird series for me.
  • OK Ko Let's Be Heroes: I watched a couple of episodes and thought it was pretty cool, I might give it a rewatch someday, but I think it might be too much filler for me, we'll see.

  • Marvel/DC Comics: Literally the definition of hit or miss. I could sometimes get some of the best stories ever in media or I can get some of the worse ever in media that reminds me how much I hate Marvel/DC writers. Modern Marvel and DC aren't looking too good either so there's that too.
  • Modern Archie Comics: So a lot of the modern crap for Archie I don't really care for. Mainly talking about the newest Sabrina comics, really do not like them.

Soon.

  • Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): So like, MCU is such a mixed series for me.

Verses I Dislike

  • Ao Oni: Now, I know this is one of the granddaddies to the RPG Horror genre we have today and it should be respected for that But for fuck sakes man, this game is awful. There is no tension whatsoever, the monster doesn't look scary, he looks fucking funny, there's barely and story, and the chase music is one of the worst trying to be scary songs I've ever heard. The only interesting aspect about the Oni is that he can chase you to different rooms. That's it.
  • Bendy & The Ink Machine: Yeah this got moved here. After thinking about it more and re-looking through the game, while the concept is very cool, the actual execution isn't really that well thought out. Definitely needed more time in the oven to cook.
  • Desert Nightmare: As much as I love the beginning I also hate it because of the awful ending.
  • Baldi's: Extremely boring horror game that I only ever watched Cory play and that was it. I know it was made as a joke but god man, it's bad.
  • Bubsy: Yeah what a shocker, the universally accepted worse platformer series is in my dislike list? Who would've guessed.
  • DDLC: VNs bore me, DDLC is a VN. See the issue? Also replayability from this game is kind of shot when you play through it and the warning at the beginning of the game quite literally ruins the entire atmosphere lol.
  • Pokémon: Once upon a time I used to really like Pokémon. It wasn't even that long ago actually. Then I played SMT V and Legends Arceus back to back and I just can't get into this series anymore. I still like Colosseum, Gale of Darkness, & Stadium 1/2 though. But other then that, I'm just going to pass on this series future games honestly.
  • Danganronpa: This game bored the hell out of me and the first girl you be friends with in the game I just wanted to die.
  • Life is Strange: The writing in this game is... so bad. The characters are bad, the time rewind mechanic is just dumb and removes all tension for me. Also the two endings you have to pick are so forced. Defo do not recommend this game.
  • Megami Tensei Spinoffs: Asides from the two I mentioned in the like section, I like almost no other Megami Tensei spinoff series. I do not like Strange Journey, I think it's boring and not written well with a boring combat system. I do not like the OG Megami Tensei, I do not like SMT if... Megami Tensei series is legit just a love-hate relationship for me.
  • Persona: Friendly note, if I say "I remember liking" I'm probably going to be moving them into the dislike/neutral territory.
  • Assassin's Creed: Originally liked the series, re-played the series and realized how bad the story is along with the gameplay and camera is. I think the fact that 4 is one of the few pirate games and Origins being an action RPG tricked me.

  • Dragon Ball: Yeah shocked to see myself I put this here, but yeah I do not like Dragon Ball, at all. The only piece of media left from Dragon Ball I genuinely like is The Path to Power and some of its video games. Dragon Ball overall for me is a massive disappointment in media so I guess I should just go over my list of reasons. I've made an entire video discussing how I don't think Goku realistically is the 'best martial artist', as Dragon Balls warped idea of martial arts has been for a while just been strong attacks. The peak of skill in the Dragon Ball verse is Ultra Instinct (which they treat as a form for some reason), which is a martial arts skill so many other characters learn and it's handled better cause its not treated as a stat amp form. Then there's the power creep of Dragon Ball, no matter what you try to say or defend for this, it's objectively bad writing. I despise most of SMT and they're 1-A on this site, Demi-fiend is one of my least favorite characters ever and he's 1-A, so my like or dislike of a series doesn't really affect its tier ever.
  • Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou: I remember everyone hyping up Akuto Sai, then I realized it was vs debaters. Here's a friendly reminder, never listen to them about someone being cool or not because of their tiering cause the manga itself is fucking boring. Maybe the novel is better but man I liked none of the manga.
  • Choujin Sensen: This started off interesting then just fell flat on it's face. I feel like so many things were just rushed and made up on the spot to try and get a forced ending that wasn't really all that good.
  • Hunter X Hunter This is probably the most disappointing anime I've watched and manga I've read.
  • Bleach: Speaking of me not understanding where all the hype comes from, so the first arc with Ichigo and Rukia, I like, they play off each other well.
  • Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: I don't know what I was smoking for those who saw this list before I updated it, but I somehow put this verse in neutral, now it goes where it belongs.
  • Death Note: I like intelligence mangas, so the one thing you can do to make me not like it, is have a main protag that doesn't feel intelligent and feels overly paranoid. That is Light Yagami to a tea, shoutout to my friends video in regards to that. I swear to god I still hold it that Luffy would say his full name to Light and Light would have a paranoid mind debate with himself over how there's no way someone will simply just give out their full name and how he's trying to trick him, kinda like that one scene with Sylvie from Epithet Erased. Talentless Nana is a better intelligence manga overall, I also like the one-shot and live action Death Note more then the anime/manga.
  • Sword Art Online: So I at first liked this anime when I watched it.

  • Regular Show: I do not like this show. I do not think it's funny. I think Muscle Man needs to die. That's about it.
  • Johnny Test: Asides from the whip crack meme being pretty funny when it was relevant, this show is just plain awful. What's funny is too I'm pretty sure I remember the 4kids version of JT unironically being decent verses when it got on CN. Unless I'm just misremembering which could be possible.
  • Teen Titans Go: So unlike most other people who will go on rants about how it's a stain on the previous show, I'm not even going there, I think the show on it's own, without comparing it to OG TT, is awful.
  • Powerpuff Girls Reboot: Just like TTG, I do not need the OG PPG to say why this is bad, the show itself is so boring and uneventful and feels so corporate. This is what happens when you make a lifeless show with no real inspiration. I have heard people say PPG Reboot is worse then TTG, but personally I have it the other way around.
  • Uncle Grandpa: Apparently I heard this is a successor to Chowder. That is fucking disappointing. I'm not even going to do a mini review of this, just know it's awful.
  • Steven Universe: *Snaps Fingers* Ok so I was once a huge SU fan, used to love it.
  • Hazbin Hotel: Remember the epithet erased story? If you don't, just know I used to think this show was pretty alright, now I think it's dogshit. Also watched S1 of the Amazon series, it got worse.

  • Batman The Dark Knight Part 2: Literal. fanfiction. tier. writing. Nothing else to be said, do not read this, it's actually awful.

  • Soon.

    • DC Extended Universe (DCEU): Even though some of their movies were pretty decent (referring to Aquaman and Shazam), MoS, BvS, and Justice League are all so bad that I need way better films coming out later for these blights to be gone from my memory. Hate all of them.
    • Hellboy: Don't know how you make 3 bad Hellboy movies in a row, it's like they weren't even trying.

Verses I want to get into

    • Monark: It's a game made by ex-Atlus developers and I'm interested to see what a Megami Tensei inspired RPG is gonna be like.
    • BlazBlue: I want to give this a shot, nothing more to say.
    • Nintendo series I haven't played: I like Nintendo and I want to look at virtually all it has to offer.
    • Tales Series: While Tales of Symphonia kinda bored me, I do want to see what the other games have to offer. This is a multi-franchised series for a reason... I hope.
    • Phantasy Star: Always interested to see what these were about.
    • Xenogears: Want to eventually play this RPG franchise to see what inspired Xenoblade.
    • John Clowder Verse: Seems like a weird and interesting RPG series that I'd defo want to try out.

    • Fist of the North Star: Everyone praises this too and it looks interesting.
    • Digimon: Always was interested to check this out.
    • Trigun: Dude with a gun that travels around? Sign me up.
