According to the raws, Merlin's home in Liones is a research hall. Each storey is also many times larger than people who are 6 foot or over. I'll assume 4.3 metres per floor.

Gladius is very close to Merlin's hall. If anything, this is a slight high-ball because it's in front of Merlin's hall.

I'm rounding off these results, by the way.

Floor = 17.76 px / 4.3 m

Width = 719 px / 174.1 m

Length = 1700.49 px / 411.7 m

It seems to be about 1/4th as thick as it is wide, which means 43.5 metres.

(411.717736486 * 174.082207207 * 43.5205518018) / 3 = 1039745.6 m

1039745.61981 * 2700 = 2807313173.49 kg

I'll use the anime timeframe. At 60 fps, it takes around 98 frames (including the frame where Helbram is getting hit) for Ground Gladius' bottom section to stop sliding upwards.

The previous calc uses the distance between Liones and Edinburgh to determine his speed. This is a lowball that needs to be updated due to more recent information, specifically the official translation as well as the new map from the second fanbook.

As has been shown several times already, Merlin's range covers the distance between Liones and Camelot at a minimum. She teleported Diane's hammer from Liones to Camelot while she was in Camelot, and she's teleported back and forth between Liones and Camelot more than once.

Here is the official map of Britannia which I used to determine the distance between Liones Kingdom and Camelot. An unedited version of the map can be found on the NNT wiki in the Britannia article.

Galand leaped several miles past 367 miles. Type in "definition of several" in Google and you will see that it means "more than two but not many."

Merlin's Range: Updated As has been common thought for some time, Merlin's range of magic seems to be much larger than just going to Camelot. She was teleporting Vivian through different climate zones, various weird places, as well as a nighttime meteor shower.

Before anyone tries to say it's cloud cover or something, there's zero hint of any cloud lines despite our perspective looking up into the sky.

The meteor shower is important because the battle was in the middle of the day in Liones. Shadows consistently drawn under the characters and small means it was sometime around noon.

There are two possibilities: 1) Merlin teleported Vivian so far that she entered a distant time zone hours ahead of Britain, which would be astronomically far, or 2) she teleported Vivian above the Arctic Circle.

(The calculation port will be using "Option 2") __________________________________________________________________________________________

Option 2 requires the assumption that it's winter but would result in a much lower value than Option 1.

According to the real-world map (Britannia is based off the real world, supposedly taking place during Arthurian times when magic was still around), the nearest location above the circle would be the very tip of Iceland, which is Grimsey Island, a bit off the northern coast of Iceland.

Using this calculator, we can see that the distance between the Isle of Mull (which if you check the map of Scotland is a bit north of Liones, so is actually a slight lowball) and Grimsey Island is about 800 miles.

Replace the 370 mile distance above with 800 miles and we get Mach 7986
