Extra-Planar Existence

Explanation

Extra-Planar Existence is the state of existence where on is in one of the higher (or lower depending on the different planes) planes of reality/existence. Planes are followed from esoteric cosmology, in which they are subtle state, level, or region of reality, each plane corresponding to some type, kind, or category of being. Within a different plane of existence from the physical plane, the character is essentially immune to things that apply to physical reality. A pretty common way one reaches this state of being is through achieving Astral Projection. Unlike Higher-Dimensional Existence, the user does not exist in an extra axis of space or an extra temporal dimension, but instead are detatched from such things, existing in a metaphysical state of being.

Possible Applications

• Planeswalking: As they can exist in other planes of existence, they may be able to travel to other planes of existence.
• Abstract Existence: In one of the planes they exist in, they could be a pure abstraction.
• Incorporeality: As they exist in different planes not apart of the physical one, they may lack any physical form.
