Background

Monsters We Make is an indie manga made by a small team led by CoryxKenshin.

In the year 2114, a neon-lit world conceals its darkest truths.

Jabari Booker, a 17-year-old prodigious musician, arrives at New Edyn Academy expecting to hone his craft. Instead, he’s thrown into a living nightmare. The academy, presented as a haven for those born during The Eternal Night, harbors a sinister agenda—training students to hunt and kill monsters. Citizens, including Jabari’s own classmates, are mutating into monstrous abominations, victims of SANADA, a shadowy global tech conglomerate manipulating events from behind the scenes.

Forced into the ranks of expendable soldiers known as HOUNDS, Jabari and his newfound allies must fight through relentless waves of monsters, uncover SANADA’s buried secrets, and confront their own inner darkness.

As the boundary between humans and monsters grows ever thinner, one chilling question remains: Who are the real monsters?
