Summary
Empowerment is the ability to become strengthen oneself due to various circumstances and outside forces that may or may not be under their control. Unlike Statistics Amplification, empowerment is often involuntary and inherent to each character rather than an activated ability.
Limitation
- Might become weakened when faced with an opposing force/emotion (I.E. a person empowered by compassion starts feeling hate).
- A lack of their force/emotion could cause them to lose their power entirely.

- The Lantern Corps (DC Comics); empowered by their respective emotions
- N Ma (Mahou Sentai Magiranger); empowered by his enemy's despair
- Waterbenders and Firebenders (Avatar: The Last Airbender); empowered by a full moon or sunlight, respectively
