Summary
Self-Sustenance is the ability to maintain oneself infinitely without the typical demands of life. The procedure of this ability can vary widely and for some types of creatures it may simply be a normal aspect of their being; for example, undead creatures usually do not require oxygen. Beings that are non-corporeal, nonexistent or have a similar natural ability would probably have that power.
Types
- Type 1: Respiratory Self-Sustenance: The ability to live indefinitely without oxygen or any substance breathed by the creature species. This ability includes survival in the void of space or in the depths of an ocean. This may offer resistance to some gas-based toxins.
- Type 2: Nutritional Self-Sustenance: The ability to survive indefinitely without food, water, or whatever kind of creature you would normally rely on for its nutritional value. This ability can provide resistance to poisons.
- Type 3: Restful Self-Sustenance: The ability to continue acting forever without rest or sleep. These users of this ability do not need rest and are not short of energy or even tired. This ability denotes virtually infinite endurance and can promote resistance to certain types of sleep manipulation.
