Doing some really easy math here because I need to gauge how much faster Genesis/Angeal/Sephiroth's flight speed is to their travel speed. Everyone in FFVII's normal travel speed is around Athletic Human due to keeping pace with the 20 mph speeds of a Chocobo, but the flight speed of the Jenova Bros. is clearly faster than their running speed.
(And before anyone asks, no they do not scale to the travel speed of Bahamut Fury. Nobody does, no reason they should. Reaction and Combat speed absolutely scale to higher tier stuff like that, but Travel Speed is completely different.)
Starting off, Genesis is roooughly the same height as Zack. Nothing is confirmed exactly for Genesis, but we do know that Zack's official height is 185cm based on the Ultimania. 185cm is juuust over 6 feet. So I'll be using exactly 6 feet for Genesis, to give a good approximate.
It's kinda hard to make out where he is here but seeing it in the video makes it a lot more obvious, so refer to that. It gives a very wide shot of Genesis just zooming in a straight line through the sky, a good distance too so we get a good gauge of how fast he's going.
Here I matched up the images between the start of his flight and the end of his flight. The timeframe it takes for him to go from Point A to Point B is approximately 1 second, so I'll be using that. After just drawing a straight line from A to B using Genesis' height of 6 feet, as seen in the image above, I calculated that the approximate distance he travelled was 222 feet.
In other words, 222 feet per 1 second. But nobody uses ft/s on this wiki (why would anyone,) so I quickly converted it to mph. This comes out to a solid 151.4 mph: Subsonic
Everyone who would scale: Genesis Rhapsodos, Angeal Hewley, Sephiroth (when using their wings)
