Spider-Man outruns explosion
Feat can be seen here. Spider-Man briefly outruns an explosion after an oil tanker drives into a "high voltage" box/generator thing.
Assuming it's crude oil, which is 46.3 megajoules/kg according to Wikipedia. TNT is 4.6 megajoules/kg.
According to this, which is the source used for our explosive calculator:
M = e/E*m
M = TNT Equivalent Mass (kg)
e = Specific Detonation Energy of Explosive (J/kg)
E = Specific Detonation Energy of TNT (4 600 000 J/kg)
m = Mass of explosive (kg)
Assuming there's 10 kg of oil or stuff, that's a low-ball, a truck can have a lot more.
46300000/4600000*10 = 100.65 kg of TNT equivalent
Using DontTalkDT's explosion speed calculator:
Spider-Man seems around 10 metres from origin of explosion. Degree of derivation is 0 radians.
363 m/s, a little less than Mach 1.07, Transonic
This is still a low-ball, there should be a lot more than 10 kg of explosive in the truck.
