Doing some Mario FTL speed feats that can actually be calc'd.

Launch Star/Power Star

Feat: The Launch Star can take Mario to the edge of the universe and the Power Star flies him back there in around 3 seconds. Mario is located very close to the center of the universe, since we're using the observable universe as a lowball anyways, we will say Mario is right there. He's like a galaxy away from there anyway.

Math: The distance is 46,500,000,000 light years (half of the universe). Timeframe is 3 seconds, give or take. It's more of a lowball.

Results: 489,151,317,250,182,460c (Over 489 quadrillion times FTL)

Prankster Comet

Feat: The Prankster Comet flew past 7 galaxy clusters of the same size. World 5 in general is a supercluster from the inside, and each world is of similar size.

Math: Each cluster would be 30 million light years, making it 210 million light years in total. Timeframe was 2.07 seconds.

Results: 3,201,551,398,551,919.5c (Over 3.2 quadrillion times FTL)

Mini-Stars

Feat: Bowser sucks up all of the mini-stars from the universe, which we can assume so since the background in space lacks any form of white spots. When released, the mini-stars all fly back to their original locations within the same night. The Mini-Stars were located nearby Saturn. Due to Super Mario Galaxy displaying the edge of the universe does have stars, this is where we will say the stars stopped at. The Mini-Stars returned to their spots before the cast got home and before the night ended. The cast fought a Chain Chomp and traveled to the station, to which Bowser Jr and Bowser implied they were arriving quickly. Because of this, I will assume a 1 hour time frame.

Math: The edge of the universe from Earth is 46,500,000,000 light-years, and the distance from Earth to Saturn is 1.2 billion km. Giving us 46,499,999,999.993423462 light years (minor difference) in a hour.

Result: 12,228,782,931,252,720c (Over 12 quadrillion times FTL)

Rosalina's Hyper Strike

Feat: Rosalina kicked a ball hard enough that it flew to another planet.

Math: Since this planet does not resemble any within our solar system, I will assume it's at minimum around the same distance as the nearest planet outside of the solar system. That would be Proxima Centauri b, which is about 4.24 lightyears away from Earth. The ball reached the planet and came back on Earth within 6 seconds.

Results: 44,602,184.62668c (Over 44 million times FTL)

Bowser's Clown Car

Feat: Bowser used his Clown Car to travel from Earth to the Sun.

Math: The time Bowser got there was off-screen, but given that he arrived there fully ready before your character arrives, I will assume he only took a minute. The Earth is 93 million miles (149,668,992 km) away from Earth.

Results: 8.3207c (Over 8 times FTL)
