~ What is D&D? |
Background
Dungeons and Dragons, alternatively Dungeons & Dragons (abbreviated DND or D&D), is a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game, designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, then published TSR in 1974, and then later being owned by Wizards of the Coast (and thus Hasbro as a whole) in 1997. It is known to be one of the most famous RPGs of all time, having a massive influence on video games.
The gameplay of Dungeons and Dragons consists of a Dungeon Master (alternatively called "Game Master") and party of usually five people, though there is technically no limit.
- Dungeon Master:
- Party Members: Each party member creates their own character, with a lot options to choose from. There are plenty of races to make your character (ex. Humans, Dwarfs, Dragonborn, Half-Elves, Tieflings, Halflings, Gnomes, and many more), as well 13 classes: Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard, and Artificer. Despite there only being 13, each class has "sub-classes", as well as an option for "multi-classing" at higher levels.

Gods
- Lesser Deities are At least Low 2-B, possibly High 2-B for being superior Archdevil Asmodeus and could be comparable to Demon Lords who have reached the Lesser Deity status, such as Demogorgon.
- Asmodeus can control the Nine-Hells, which are repeatedly stated to be infinite in size
- Demogorgon shook the entire abyss, which is infinite in size and holds infinite layers within itself, with each layer being its own reality and universe.
- Intermediate Deities are High 2-B for being superior to all Lesser Deities, including Demogorgon
- Greater Gods are At least High 2-B for being superior to Intermediate Deities, along with having feats on this scale.
- Zeus, alongside his siblings, defeated the titans, who embody fundemental concepts of the multiverse
- Mystra's death caused catastrophe across the multiverse, progressing it from 3rd Edition to 4th. She also embodies the Weave, the supply of magic in the multiverse
- Asmodeus pushed the Abyss to a different section of the multiverse.
- Overdeities are 2-A for transcending all other gods
- Ao exists beyond the bounds of deities in all ways, the same way teachers aren't bound to the grades of their students. He is beyond the concept of alignment, something all deities are bound by.
- Vecna, who was going to become stronger than Ao, was going to ascend beyond godhood and the material planes altogether
