Speed

The hoverboards in Sky Peace move pretty fast. Let's see just how fast, for their standard speed.

Off the bat, since the game actually follows the player to make it appear as if they aren't moving, and has the enemies move towards YOU... it's the complete opposite. That's a trick of the game. The enemies are actually stationary while the players are moving. So while I may be calculating the movement of an enemy, it's deceptively actually the speed of Surf and Peace.

In the span of half a second, the enemy goes from the side of the screen to directly in front of Surf. If you don't believe me that it's half a second (the timestamp at the bottom of the images can be deceiving), then see for yourself.

In order to see how much movement was actually done in that half a second, I've compiled the two images together.

For Surf's speed, I used the average height of a 13 year old boy, which is 156cm or 1.56m. This is because Surf is described as a boy, and so I just made a safe assumption based on that and his appearance. The distance that the enemy bot seems to travel is exactly 9 and a half times Surf's length, which comes out to 14.82 meters.

14.82 meters per half a second is equal to 29.64 m/s, which is Superhuman

Attack Potency/Defense

Surf and Pure can run head-first into enemies without flinching or suffering any knockback. This is consistent, it happens with literally every enemy in the game. Since enemies are stationary and the player is not, as we've established, I can do a simple calculation to see the force they're ramming into these enemies with, and thus the force they can tank.

Time for a KE calculation! But this one is actually useable.

KE = ½ m*v^2

KE is in Joules, m is Mass, v is Velocity

As we determined in the previous calc, Surf is around 13 years old. The average weight of a 13 year old is 50 kilograms, give or take, so I'll go with that.

Mass = 50kg

Next for velocity. As established in the previous calc, Surf and Pure move at 14.82 meters per every half second. Put that into the velocity calculator and we get the same answer as before...

Velocity = 29.64 m/s

That's all we need, so I'll plug the numbers into the formula and get our result.

KE = ½ 50*29.64^2

KE = 21963.24 J

21963.24 J = Wall level (9-B)
