Intimidation

Background

Intimidation is the power to evoke extreme fear and horror in others. The user can evoke and increase fear and horror in others causing the target’s brain to release fear-inducing chemicals. The target’s perception may be altered, causing them to see their environment as ominous and the user as dark and foreboding, or even as a monster. Normally this can be done through the target hearing various horrifying legends about the person, the person being a scary individual on their own, or the person having the supernatural ability to intimidate someone through existing. This is a sub-power of Fear Manipulation as that ability manipulates one's fears, this ability brings out one's fears through various methods that are either supernatural or nigh-supernatural. Normal things such as a robber breaking into one's house as an example shouldn't be listed for this ability, it should be for characters with a high standard of manipulation or characters that can do it on a supernatural level.
