It can reach up to speeds of 141.22 km/h or 39.227777777781 m/s: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R44_(New_York_City_Subway_car)
Plug this into the KE calculator and you get 29,699,200 J or 0.0070982791587 tons of tnt, aka Wall level+.
Also to stop a train car of this weight would require Class 10 lifting strength.
