Sent ahead to gather information on the weaknesses and observe the terrifying customs of the doomed planet. By ingeniously disguising himself as a normal, green, human boy. Himself the reason for the pathetic failure of Operation Impending Doom 1. Zim is doubly determined to do the best job he can and regain the trust and confidence of his leaders, the Almighty Tallest! Together with his faithful half-robot half-doggy companion, and armed only with a ferocious devotion and bottomless reservoir of energy... Background

Invader Zim, often branded as Invader ZIM, is an American animated television series that was produced by and subsequently aired on Nickelodeon. The series is centered around an egotistical, clueless Irken Invader named Zim who constantly and futilely attempts to conquer and destroy Earth, a more satirical version of the real world set in the distant future. Zim's schemes are usually foiled by Dib Membrane, an aspiring paranormal investigator who takes the Earth's protection into his own hands. Dib is among the few people who sees through Zim's disguise.

The show has no clear distinction of a protagonist or antagonist, and instead emphasized one's ability to empathize with Zim and Dib's lack of competence and vindication respectively. First broadcast on March 30, 2001, Nickelodeon had initially desired a block of 'edgy' programming for their older demographic when Invader Zim was green lighted. Invader Zim was the only show that could fit such a block, leaving the series hard to place in an appropriate time slot suitable for their typical demographic.

It was intended for audiences in their early teens but was instead viewed more by older audiences, usually college-aged audiences and fans of Jhonen's previous works. Consequently, the ratings were not high enough for the expenses put into the show. As Nickelodeon was spending more money on airing and producing Invader Zim than any other show, it was cancelled in January 2002 and one of the last finished episodes aired on December 10 the same year.

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (often abbreviated JtHM) is the first comic book by Jhonen Vasquez. The series tells the story of a young man named Johnny “Nny” C. as he explores the psychological and possibly supernatural forces which compel him to commit a string of murders with which he always seems to get away. JtHM began as a comic strip in the 1990s, then ran under alternative comics publisher Slave Labor Graphics as a limited series of seven issues, later collected in the trade paperback Johnny the Homicidal Maniac: Director's Cut. The series produced three spin-offs: Squee!, I Feel Sick and Fillerbunny.

Squee! was a four-issue comic book series by Jhonen Vasquez, published by Slave Labor Graphics, featuring a supporting character from Vasquez's previous series Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. The series was eventually collected as the trade paperback Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors

Power of the Verse

Despite how weak the verse may seem, Invader Zim is surprisingly stronger then it looks. With season 1 characters reaching Wall levels of strength, to Season 2 characters reaching Building levels of strength. The movie reaches Multi-City Block level+, with the comic continuity keeping the same levels of power. The speed is nothing to slouch at either, with characters having FTL reactions. Along with this, the technology of the verse is extremely powerful, giving abilities such as Gravity Manipulation, Space-Time Manipulation, Reality Separation, Reality Warping, etcetera.
