User:TheKnightofWinter/Why MHA should be upgraded to Relativistic-SoL

From The Codex

Hello, there. I'm new to this wiki and I decided for my first blog, I should upgrade one of my favorite verses. This blog will explain why MHA is at least Relativistic and likely SoL via upscaling. Forgive me if this is organized badly. This is my first doing something like this.

Feats

Point #1: Aoyama's Lasers

Okay, so here we are. I should probably address the elephant in the room. It's been debated by many whether or not his laser should be considered light speed. But in my opinion, they very much should.

First of all, Hagakure's Quirk is Invisibility. She turns invisible via bending the light around her body, thus rendering her invisible. As shown in the scan below which may be a spoiler, Hagakure is capable of refracting Aoyama's lasers.

Secondly, Thirteen has the Quirk named Black Hole. It allows her to destroy any matter on an atomic level. As shown in Aoyama and Uraraka's fight against her, she absorbs Aoyama's laser. She also states she can absorb light.

Before I list the people who dodged it and the calcs, I shall address the counterpoints as to why Yuga's laser isn't actual light.

Aoyama can shoot himself through the air with his lasers, so it can't be real light since light doesn't exert force.

Not true at all. Lasers can move small particles in the air. And since Yuga can increase the potency of his laser, I think it's fair to say his lasers are strong enough to shoot him through the air.

His lasers cause explosions so it's not real light.

As shown by certain studies, lasers can cause explosions if they're strong enough. And yeah, Yuga's are definitely strong enough.

Aoyama can shape his beams into a saber so his lasers aren't light.

It's likely that Aoyama can turn his lasers into solid light, which is a real thing, so I don't see why it wouldn't apply here.

Since that's out of the way, let's talk about the various feats.

  • Mina dodging multiple of Aoyama's lasers. Two calcs place them at 15% the SoL and 17% the speed of light.
  • Slice and Chimera dodging and outpacing in Heroes' Rising.
  • Toru being able to refract his laser beams multiple times.
  • Mirio activating Permeation before Aoyama’s laser hit him.

So yeah, it's fairly consistent throughout the verse. However, I assume some would still consider these feats outliers. If so, don't worry, because this is where my second point comes in.

Point #2: World Heroes' Mission

In World Heroes' Mission, Izuku and Shoto are capable of dodging the lasers within the Humarize base. Why should they be considered real light? Well, they move in a straight line, burns on contact, comes from technology, and reflect off of mirrors, so they should be considered light speed.

Midoriya and Todoroki were able to dodge these lasers throughout the battle. The only time Midoriya failed to dodge them was when he was distracted after seeing Rody get hurt.

To wrap this section up, dodging beams of light is fairly consistent within the My Hero Academia series.

Scaling

Most of the Class 1-A students should be Relativistic via scaling to Mina and Toru. Most, if not all, Pro Heroes should be able to scale to this. The top tiers should be incomparably faster to the point where they could be considered Relativistic+ and maybe even light speed.

Conclusion

So in conclusion, the MHA verse is faster than MHS+ and the verse should be Relativistic at least. Take that, Reddit.
