Introduction

Armoured Cannon Beetle from Pikmin fires small boulders that hit with enough force to fragment itself on impact, which is referred to as rock by the game's sources)

The Calculation

Version One

Olimar is 0.75 inches in height (Head to toe), which makes the diameter of the boulder 2.14379084862 inches, or 5.4452287554948 centimeters.

This makes the volume roughly 84.537034733575cm³.

Fragmentation of rock is 0.058 j/cc, and due to how small the rock is, factoring in percentage volume is irrelevant, thus our formula is 84.537034733575*0.058 = 4.90314801455 joules.

Version Two

Alright, this time we're calculating the Kinetic Energy of the rock ramming into Olimar. We'll use the same volume established above, just with a different shot for the distance the boulder Traveled.

Olimar = 72.56px

Distance = 1773px

The boulder traveled 18.3262127737 inches in roughly two seconds. That equates to 0.232743 m/s.

The weight of the rock is 84.537034733575*2.515 = 212.610642355 grams.

5^212.610642355*0.232743^2 = 0.0057584852648906 joules... Fuck

Bonus Pikmin 3 Calculation

Rock Pikmin can fragment a large rock/crystal. Olimar notes that a Skutterchuck will use rocks as cover and can acquire them from the surface, however the "rocks" are crystal-like in nature.

So with that in mind, I will be using silicon over whatever we could classify crystal as in Pikmin (Although enemies can naturally grow it on themselves, silicon seems like the best resource to use over just limestone).

Comparing Brittany to Olimar, that makes her 1.9cm. Thus the diameter of the rock is 2.45566816204 centimeters. Thus our volume is 7.7536762099077 cm³.

7.7536762099077*0.45 = 3.48915429446 joules, or Below Average Human level.
