Introduction

So in Steven Universe, Lapis creates water clones to fight the Crystal Gems, and Garnet's clone creates a clash with the original Garnet that forms a small crater in the ground.

The Calculation

Math & Stuff

Okay, so we'll need Garnet's height first. Garnet is supposedly 7'5ft in height, or 2.2606 meters tall. You know, this isn't top surprising since Garnet has always been a giant in comparison to everyone, and before you fuckers go "Oh but X character was as tall as her!", Steven Universe is notorious for inconsistent illustrations.

Garnet is 187.82px in this shot, thus this makes the diameter of the crater 14.5262386241 meters.

Within the second shot, Garnet is roughly 472.62px in height. Comparing that to the crater makes the depth 2.4700051613 meters deep.

We'll use a spherical cap formula to get our volume. Using that means our total volume is 212564944.191cm³.

Now the ground cracks akin to rock when Garnet and Waternet (shut up) collide. For simplicity's sake, and using the most common rock found at the surface of the ocean since they were traversing the bed of the sea, we'll be using limestone.

Furthermore, because the crater is compressed into the ground, we'll be using pulverization. This actually works really well with actual compressive strength in real life, thus this calculation works even with the future revisions we'll have. The compressive strength of limestone is 250 j/cc.

Final Equation

212564944.191cm³*250 = 53141236047.8 joules, or 12.70106024086998 tons of TNT (8-B). Now because this feat was performed by two equal characters, we'll split the total result in half to give us 26570618023.9 joules, or 6.350530120434991 tons of TNT, which is still High 8-C.

Conclusion

26570618023.9 joules, Large Building level
