Introduction

RIP DJ Octavio (Not really because he's still alive). Simple explosion calculation which will scale to everyone since this was a considerably weaker Octavio fighting NEW Agent 4.

The Calculation

Sane Measurements

So apparently, the Inklings actually age based on real world time (Ami will have more evidence on the Inkling page when it gets made), which would actually make Inklings as tall as adults, perfect!

Average adult male is 170.8cm, which makes DJ Octavio 172.717164835cm tall (1.727 meters) based on these pixel measurements.

DJ is 432.8px tall in this shot. His mech's body width is 1558.5px here, or 6.19366912142 meters in diameter.

In this shot, the body is 893.2px wide, and the screen is 1916px. This makes the diameter of the explosion at least 13.2860166006 meters (Take note it's much larger as we see later in this blog).

This took place on the ground, so the formula is 6.6430083003^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 0.02356025032 tons of TNT, Room level+.

Ami-type measurements

The sub-title is a joke because Ami doesn't do math, but would be crazy enough to suggest this (That's also a joke since everything here is my idea).

Okay so, if you slow the video down around here, you can see the whole explosion coveres the entire screen, and the size of DJ's mech in perspective, showing the explosion was far larger (I'm not surprised).

DJ's mech is 59.44px, whereas the screen is 1912px in diameter, or 199.23107941 meters in diameter.

Edit: I decided to use the bottom of DJ's smoke trail as the reference point for his diameter, given it seems DJ is at an angle way up wonder.

Anyway, the diameter of the trail's width is 315px, making the explosion diameter 37.5945884348 meters.

This is the best middle-ground between the two results, and probably makes the most sense too, given it's clear the explosion was far larger than the mech.
