Introduction

Bomb Rocks can fragment stone walls in Pikmin 3/Pikmin 3 Deluxe. We're just going to quickly calculate the energy needed to do this since, of the the three (Soon to be four) mainline games, three is by far the most graphically viable to calculate.

The Calculation

Building our final Equation

We're scaling Brittany's height to Olimar's (Out of the three captains, these two are about the closest), who is canonically 0.75 inches, or 1.905 centimeters.

Brittany = 75.1px

Wall length = 442.3px

Wall height = 209px

This makes the area of the wall 59.4803220361cm²

Brittany = 60px

Wall width = 149.65px

4.7513875*59.4803220361 = 282.614058618cm³. Due to how small everything is in the world of Pikmin, we don't need to deduct any percentage of the volume due to the rubble bits being about a cubic centimeter, if not smaller, in size.

Lastly, these stone walls don't have a confirmed material, but the stone wall is a dark grey color, so we'll go with basalt igneous rock for now, which makes the value unit 1.2 J/cm³.

Final Equation

282.614058618(cm³)*1.2(J/cm³) = 339.13687 joules, and dividing this result by three makes the final result 113.045623 joules, or Human level, borderline Above Average Human level. This makes much more sense than the previous Superhuman results we got.
