Beast serves as the main protagonist Beauty and the Beast: Roar of the Beast on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. The game was released alongside Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Quest which follows the perspective of Belle while the former follows the perspective of the Beast.

The Beast is a chimera, a mixture of several animal. He has the mouth of a tiger, the face of a mandrill, the head structure of a buffalo, the eyebrows of a gorilla, the neck of a rhino, the jaws, teeth, and mane of a lion, the tusks of a wild boar, the back mane of a hyena, the ears, head, and horns of a wildebeest, the arms and claws and body of a bear, and the legs and tail of a wolf.
