Oneiric Vision
Background
Oneiric Vision is the ability to perceive knowledge, events, or truths through dreams. These visions may reveal glimpses of the future, provide insight into the past, or uncover hidden truths tied to one’s current or past life. Unlike ordinary Clairvoyance, Precognition or Retrocognition, this ability is unique in that it only manifests through the dream state, often blurring the line between symbolic imagery and literal events.
Such visions can serve as guidance, warnings, or revelations. However, they are often cryptic, requiring interpretation, and can mislead the user if misunderstood. Across myth and fiction, dream-visions are a common tool of gods, spirits, or fate itself, allowing mortals to receive supernatural insight while vulnerable in sleep.
