Background
SCP-006 is a small spring located 60 km west of Astrakhan. Its existence was known to the Foundation since the 19th century but they were unable to secure it until 1991 due to political reasons. Its pond liquid emits unusual healing properties, regenerating damaged DNA, heightened cellular duplication, vastly improved abilities in repaired tissue, and an increase in the effectiveness of the human immune system. Due to its ability, the SCP must have a certain level of secrecy to it, and thus personnel are told lies to deny or hide knowledge of SCP-006's effects.
