Severing

Introduction

Severing is the ability to sever objects regardless of their nature. With this, the user is able to split two power sources away from each other, undo fusions, or in other cases, severing can be used to remove parts without causing any direct harm, such as severing body parts without damaging their functionality, or severing the inside without harming the outside body. The user with this ability can also divide objects, making them incapable of fusing back into one. Its opposite is Fusionism.

Types

• Physical Severing: The user can sever physical objects, such as cutting through material, or separating body parts without causing harm to their functionality.
• Energy Severing: The user can sever energy sources or power flows, disrupting or dividing their source and making them unable to reconnect.
• Metaphysical Severing: The user can sever metaphysical connections, such as severing bonds, curses, or connections between minds or souls.
• Fusion Severing: The user can undo fusions or separations that occur through fusion abilities, preventing re-merge or undoing a previously merged entity.

Possible Applications

• Undoing Fusions: The ability to reverse fusions, both physical and metaphysical, separating fused entities or energy sources.
• Body Part Severing: The ability to sever body parts without damaging their function, enabling removal or separation of limbs or internal organs while maintaining their integrity.
• Energy Disruption: Severing the flow of energy between objects or entities, preventing them from sharing or transferring energy, making it impossible for combined energy sources to rejoin.
• Cursed Bond Severing: Severing bonds or metaphysical connections, such as breaking curses, severing control over someone, or unlinking linked minds or souls.
