Gadgets

Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

• Allow uploading multiple files on Special:Upload  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-uploadMultipleFiles.js
  Enabled for everyone by default.
• Show some user data & statistics on user pages.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-userProfile.js, Gadget-userProfile.css
  Enabled for everyone by default.
• Displays lock indicators on protected pages.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-protectionLocks.js
  Enabled for everyone by default.
• Easily add / remove / change a category on a page, with name suggestions.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-HotCat.js, Gadget-Hotcatcheck.js
  

  Requires the following right:

  • upload
  Enabled for everyone by default.
• refTools, adds a "cite" button to the editing toolbar for quick and easy addition of commonly used citation templates.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-refToolbar.js
  Limited to the "edit" page action.
  Enabled for everyone by default.
