I honestly feel like some people consider Ultra Instinct (UI) the pinnacle of combat techniques largely because of how it is presented. It's a technique that even the Gods of Destruction struggle to master, while the Angels are naturally capable of using it. Its debut also shook the internet like a storm, leaving a massive cultural impact. However, taking a more objective and critical look at it, UI honestly doesn't seem nearly as impressive as the hype surrounding it would suggest.
Several characters across fiction possess similar abilities without needing to achieve godhood or undergo any extraordinary transformation. Yet UI is often treated as something fundamentally beyond ordinary automatic movement, as though its particular implementation makes it an exclusive and almost unattainable ability that no other character could ever replicate, even if they possess comparable techniques on a basis.
At least that's what i think.
