Alright so this was the High Hypersonic reasoning: "Could fight and tag Tambourine, who was able to tag and destroy Son Goku's flying nimbus, where even post King Kai training Goku used the flying nimbus to make it to the saiyans implying it is at least comparable to his flight speed by then, with Goku being capable of traveling over a million of kilometers in two days which results in these speeds"

Something I always had as dubious but thought it was fine enough, but I found something that kills this argument for good. Daizenshuu 7 directly notes the Flying Nimbus maximum speed is Mach 1.5.

There's not much else to say there, the High Hypersonic reasoning itself was already dubious since it was scaling pre-Saiyan Saga Goku's reactions to a travel speed feat Saiyan Saga Goku did and we have a direct confirmation of the objects maximum speed. It can easily be inferred too that he used the flying nimbus just to save up on stamina even if it would take longer to make it to the battle.

Pretty short.

Gohan in the Buu Saga and other characters still used the Flying Nimbus, so it's all good, I agree.

I agree, though it feels crazy lol

Sounds resonable enough i agree with the downgrade

Seems full agreement in effect and I can't really see counter-arguments for this so I'll just go through with it now.

Seeing as this is so basic and I can't really see a realistic counter-argument that isn't just denying the Daizenshuu's statement, I'm going to go ahead and close this thread, someone can make a new thread countering the points presented.
