We got some new updates now for the wiki, we've been trying to create a feel closer to fandom and thanks to recent finds, we have gotten some stuff done.
Wiki Forum
Now as I mentioned before, WikiForum is nice but we wanted to tweak things to make it feel more like the old Forum on Fandom before they had the UCP update and changed it to discussions, and we're getting closer to that. First and foremost, now we have a topics thing where you can see discussions about a character right below their page.
To add a specific topic, simply put the characters name and a , for whatever else you'd like to add, for example: Dragon Ball/Son Goku, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball/Vegeta <- These will link to Goku's page, Dragon Ball's Page, and Vegeta's Page (You can also do redirects as they'll automatically just become the page but careful with Goku since Son Goku links to the disambig page and not Goku's actual page). I don't think there's a limit to how many topics you can add unlike Discussions where the limit was 10. Anything internally linked will be auto-added as a topic from what it seems.
Message Walls
A while back I introduced the User:Profiles extension, and I removed Social:Profiles, why was this? Social:Profiles was largely harder to communicate on and reply to messages on, along with feeling not good at all, but I know not everyone is fond of the Message Wall system naturally built into MediaWiki, thus we have been working to make it work more like Fandom's, and we've succeeded. You now have a message wall section on your user profile that you can go to that sends and receives messages. You can even edit greetings!
Trending Pages
We also added the thing from Fandom that has trending pages for categories, so now you can see pages that are trending per category!
Conclusion
We are growing closer and closer to making the wiki to a definitive look. If you have any other suggestions let us know and we'll see if it fits the look!
