The Hunter
Introduction
The Hunter is a title or epithet used across various works of fiction to designate characters whose primary role involves tracking, hunting, or pursuing a target—whether animals, monsters, criminals, or supernatural entities. The title carries connotations of skill, patience, lethality, and often isolation. Depending on the work, a character called "The Hunter" may be a protagonist, antagonist, or neutral force, with portrayals ranging from heroic survivalists to relentless stalkers to cursed beings trapped in an endless cycle of pursuit.
