Introduction

Compilation of Grenadier calculations come from this doc, porting it over since I forgot too + do not want to start this idea that it's okay to post docs for calcs rather then putting calcs on site (these calcs weren't made by me also just to clarify).

Furuon’s explosion (Volume 1/Pg. 102)

As of the pixelscaling ban, this would just be 8-B as it's an explosion of a castle which are normally around a city block in size.

FTE Rushuna (Volume 2/Pg. 126)

Context: Rushina blitzes a group of men without them noticing her when they're about a car distance away from her.

Standard assumption of 5 meters. Time Frame = 4.5 milliseconds Speed = 1,111.111111111110980987654321 m/s or Mach 3.2393909944930352474 (Supersonic+)

Faster than a speeding bullet (Volume 4/Pg. 89)

Distance for something right in front of someone is normally 0.5 - 1 meters.

Default assumed distance from person to person, 5 meters.

Context: Rushuna fires 6 bullets at Yajiro. A reference bullet (270 m/s) is already 0.75 meters away from Yajiro. Rushuna is 5 meters away. We need the speed of each of Rushuna's bullets to reach Yajiro before the reference bullet does, assuming she fires all 6 sequentially.

Given:

  • Distance from reference bullet to Yajiro: 0.75 m (midpoint of "right in front of someone" range of 0.5–1 m)
  • Distance from Rushuna to Yajiro: 5 m (default assumed distance between two people)
  • Reference muzzle velocity: 270 m/s
  • Number of bullets: 6

Step 1: Find the time available.
The reference bullet travels 0.75 m at 270 m/s.

This is the maximum time Rushuna's bullets have to reach Yajiro.

Step 2: Find the speed required for ONE of Rushuna's bullets.
One bullet must cross 5 m in that same time.

Step 3: Account for SIX bullets fired sequentially.
Firing six bullets takes six times as long. To still have all six hit within the original 2.78 ms window, each bullet must be six times faster.

Step 4: Convert to Mach number.
Using Mach 1 = 340 m/s at sea level:

Rushuna's bullet speed: 10,800 m/s (Mach 32, Massively Hypersonic)

Alternate ends (for reference):

  • Low end (1 m reference distance): 8,100 m/s (Mach 24)
  • High end (0.5 m reference distance): 16,200 m/s (Mach 48)
