Gonna quickly calculate two feats here since they're both pretty similar and happen right after each other. The scene in question is DK launching a rocket at a Koopa, and Mario and DK tanking the blue shell. *Seth Rogan laugh*
The Calculation
Barrel Blast Rocket
Going to assume Mario is around the same height as his game counterpart since the dude is short in the film, so 1.5494 meters. This should make his head height 0.22134285714 meters.
Mario is 54px in this shot, whereas the explosion diameter is 1027px. This makes the explosion's diameter about 4.20961321833 meters.
We're using a ground formula, which makes our equation 2.10480660917^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 0.00074941453 tons of TNT, or Wall level.
Blue Shell of DEATH
Yep. Using the same height as last time for Mr.Jumpman.
Mario is 55px here, while the explosion is a massive 758.8px in comparison. This makes the explosion's diameter 21.3760858175 meters.
We're using the air formula for reasons pointed out in the comments below (In hindsight, air made more sense overall). ((0.0213760858175/0.28)^3)/1000/2 = 0.222474615 tons of TNT. Room level+.
