Introduction
Poor Travis Touchdown gets caught in a landmine blast that creates a small crater in the ground. I'll simply calculate the size of the explosion that made the crater since finding the amount of sand destroyed would probably get very low.
The Calculation
We're gonna scale the blast area diameter to the fence post on the right. Typical barbed wire fence posts are around 51 to 54 inches tall, or 129.54 to 137.16 centimeters tall.
I'm using 137.16 centimeters for my convenience
290px = 137.16 centimeters
1274px = 602.558068964 centimeters
Landmine dictates what formula we're using. W = 3.0127903^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 0.00219782054 Tons of TNT, or Small Building level (9-A)
Conclusion
Travis steps on a landmine and dies: 0.00219782054 tons of TNT - 9-A
