KOF 96: Goenitz's Hurricane

https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=233&v=CB5gQBh9CAI&feature=youtu.be

Leopold Goenitz, one of the Four Heavenly Kings, creates a massive hurricane that destroys the arena the fighters are in within moments.

"A supercell is a thunderstorm that is characterized by the presence of a mesocyclone: a deep, persistently rotating updraft". The black area in the sky coincides with the description, as it's visibly flowing upwards, there is also visible lightning.

"Supercells are one of the few types of clouds that typically spawn tornadoes within the mesocyclone, although only 30% or fewer do so." (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TORRO_scale)

The visible destruction of the stadium suggests T7-T8 scale damage from from the initial winds. -Though there is no tornado or funnel cloud to be seen, the damage strongly imply the existence winds that had comparable intensity. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_wind_tunnel)

"A recreational wind tunnel enables human beings to experience the sensation of flight without planes or parachutes, through the force of wind being generated vertically. Air moves upwards at approximately 195 km/h (120 mph ~ 55 m/s), or 55 m/s), the terminal velocity of a falling human body belly- downwards"

The winds below the updraft are strong enough to send a person flying, we can see people being lifted by the winds in the background during the fight. To further add to this, the Orochi stages in kof 97 are evidence that characters who have a similar level of power can influence the enviroment in a scale comparable to this. All of the points above lead me to believe that the storm is of supercell proportions, so I think it's fair to use those measurements to calc this.

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercell) "Supercells are often isolated from other thunderstorms, and can dominate the local weather up to 32 kilometres (20 mi)"

"mass of clouds spins as it gains altitude up to the cap, which can be up to the 55,000 feet (17,000 m)-70,000 feet (21,000 m) above ground for the largest storms"

So TLDR, radius is 16000 meters, thickness is an average of 19000 meters

Volume = 15280706667061 m^3

Density of clouds: 1.003 kg/m^3

Mass = 1.5326549e+13 kg

Assuming like, 10 second timeframe for making it

Speed: 16000/10 = 1600 m/s

KE = 1.9618E+19 joules, 4.68 gigatons of TNT

Alt

Japan has an area of 377975 km^2, or 3.77975e+11 m^2

Average cumulonimbus thickness: 9900 meters Volume: 3.77975e+11 * 9900 = 3.7419525e+15 m^3

Average LWQ in cumulonimbus clouds: 2 g/m^3 Mass = 7.483905E15 grams

Condensation energy: 2465.087j/g

Energy: 7.483905E15 * 2465.087 = 1.84484769E19 joules, 4.4 gigatons of TNT, Island level

KOF '97: Yashiro melts a mountain range

(Unfortunately I'm unaware who was responsible for the feat but it was found on the Geese VS Heihachi G1 Prediction Blog. If by chance someone does see this and does know who made the calc, be sure to say who because I'd like to credit you properly.)

https://youtu.be/RJgmY_JURso?t=407

Orochi Yashiro's power is enough to melt this mountain range here. This kind of stuff is consistent with other background-altering feats like with Goenitz, and it's consistent with other portayals of strength in the series (i.e. King of Dinosaurs creating a lava plume)

https://japan-forward.com/traveling-the-sanin-orochi-and-the-mythical-origins-of-the-sword/ (Myth that the KOF Orochi is directly based on)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C5%ABgoku_Mountains (only mountain range in the region)

1km high mountain seems like a reasonable assumption given how high it is. That's the lava height, there are 2 distinct layers of mountains in the background, meaning 2km length, and 3 major peaks in each layer, possibly, more, so that's our width.

Volume (block minus series of cones): 4000 000 000

Rock melting: 6,147 j/cc

Rock melting energy: 24 600 000 000 000 000 000 Joules or 5.88 Gigatons, Island level.
