User:Taser Lad/DC Comics: School Explosion

Introduction

In Deathstroke Vol 3 Issue 4, Batman and Deathstroke are fighting inside of an abandoned school. As soon as Deathstroke gets the upper hand on Batman, Harley Quinn sets off a box full of explosives which blows the school to pieces which both Batman and Deathstroke survive. Today I'll be calculating how powerful the explosion was and how much they survived of it.

Part 1: Scaling the Building

Much like another calc of this feat I will be using the average height of a Callery Pear tree as a measurement of the building.

Now we don't actually know how far away Batman and Slade were from the explosives but it didn't seem that far away so I'll assume around 5 metres.
