In Chapter 39 of Steel Ball Run Diego manages to effortlessly dodge Johnny's Tusk which has previously been shown to be about as fast as bullets from that time period. I will be calculating how fast Diego was in this scene.

Johnny: 228 pixels (0.872625 metres)
Distance from Johnny's finger and Diego: 110 pixels (0.4210032894736842 metres)
Okay so since Diego jumped up and did a somewhat flip before the bullets hit him so I'll add that in along with the distance he had jumped.
Johnny: 356 pixels
Diego's Movement: 1068 pixels (1.2630098684210527 metres)
Tusk Act 1 moves exactly the same speed as Ringo Roadagain's 1874 Colt which has a muzzle velocity of 270 m/s.
Overall Speed: 270 * 1.2630098684210527 / 0.4210032894736842 = 810 m/s or Mach 2.36152
