Background
Minecraft is a 3D sandbox survival game where players interact with a fully modifiable three-dimensional environment made of blocks and entities. Originally developed by indie game creator Markus Persson "Notch", and later bought and currently developed by Mojang Studios, Minecraft has become the best selling game in the world. Its diverse gameplay lets players choose the way they play, allowing for countless possibilities.
There are three actively maintained editions of Minecraft: Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, and Education Edition.
Calculations
* Ghast fireball explosion: Room level (9-A)
- Creeper explosion: Room level (9-A)
- TNT Block explosion: Room level (9-A)
- Respawn Beacon explosion: Room level (9-A)
- End Crystal explosion: Room level (9-A)
- Bed and Charged Creeper explosion: Room level (9-A)
- Wither explosion: Small Building level (Low 8-C)
* Formidi-Bomb explosive potential: Island level (6-C)
Power of the Verse
The verse varies greatly depending on the particular game in question. The original Minecraft is not that impressive with low-tiers peaking at Wall level, while the more powerful characters sit at Room level, and the god-tiers peak at Small Building level. Minecraft isn't much better in speed, with most characters only being Superhuman. However, where the verse excells most is in its abilities. The verse has a variety of Status Effects such as Statistics Reduction, Poison Manipulation, and Corrosion Inducement.
Minecraft: Story Mode is much more powerful. Due to the story being that of a play, a lot of Minecraft's original elements are exaggerated. Because of this, all regular characters are physically Room level with Large Building level armor and weapons. The mid to got tiers vary from City Block level all the way up to Multi-Solar System level. The verse also has a variety of powers thanks to the Command Block and admins, including Subjective Reality, Resurrection, Immortality, Absorption, etcetera.
Canon
Minecraft's canon and timeline is widely left ambiguous. The main game that is Minecraft lacks a notable story and is primarily just a survival ground for Steve and Alex to explore and survive in. Games such as Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft: Story Mode use Minecraft as a template for its own original story with new characters. For this reason, all of the Minecraft spin-offs are completely independent from the original Minecraft game.
Minecraft's End Poem, and the obscure Entities whom narrate the poem, are not considered canon to the Minecraft experience and is simply a metaphorical message to the real world audience playing the game. Further discussion and rebuttal against the Entities and End Poem can be seen here.
