Future CRT Interview Info regarding Hyper Sonic's superiority over Super Sonic (only the Super Emeralds were capable of granting Sonic / Knuckles these stronk forms, even when Sonic got powered up by the Chaos Emeralds to fight Solaris (his best feats for his Super form so far, he still was only powered up to a Super form state).

Aaron Webber's response: "...The reason they don't do Hyper Sonic as much anymore is that they were worried if they kept introducing new forms, it was going to get eerily similar to a certain Japanese anime in which characters keep getting, like" - *raises his hands upwards incrementally a couple times* - "and they didn't want to go down that route."

Aaron Webber's response: "...They added the Super Emeralds and they realized very quickly, oh no, we keep adding emeralds, we have to keep one-upping ourselves for the new form, the new evolution, the next best thing. And very quickly becomes like uhh a certain anime series where people keep getting stronger and stronger and stronger" - *raises his hands upwards incrementally a couple times, coinciding with the prior question response* -"And they were like we don't want to do that. So what they did is they went ahead and said let's stop using the Super Emeralds and just go back to the original seven and that's why they've done that - it is this power creep kind of thing that they wanted to avoid."
